The rare “S” Pultec – more frequencies and high shelf boost, in the classic 3U blue box. The Pultec EQP-1S is the 3U version of the (formerly) extremely rare EQP-1S3. It has the same wide-bandwidth tube line amp as the EQP-1A, but with modified low-frequency curves, two extra peak boost frequencies and – most importantly – two high-frequency shelf boost curves.
Why customers choose it
Who it is for
Engineers who love the EQP-1A but want extra midrange and high-shelf options for vocals, drums and the mix bus.
