Quiet, studio-grade power for passive monitors – in just 1U and with no fan noise. The Avantone Pro CLA-100 is a 2-channel Class AB studio power amplifier delivering 100 W RMS per channel into 8 ohms. It is convection cooled, so it can sit in the control room without fan noise. It suits Avantone CLA-10 Passive and Mixcube Passive monitors as well as other passive speakers.
Why customers choose it
- Zero fan noise: convection cooling only – ideal for control rooms and home studios.
- Hi-fi style Class AB sound: oversized toroidal transformer, high-quality Japanese filter capacitors and power MOSFETs for detailed highs.
- Enough power: 100 W per channel into 8 ohms, 140 W into 4 ohms, or 245 W bridged into 8 ohms.
- Flexible: Stereo or Bridged Mono mode; balanced XLR/TRS inputs and an XLR link output.
- Protected: built-in protection circuits disconnect the speakers on overheating, short circuit or DC at the output.
Who it is for
Home and professional studios running passive monitors such as the CLA-10 Passive or Mixcube Passive, mixing rooms, and anyone who wants a silent, compact amplifier.

Good to know
- Check the voltage select switch on the rear panel before first power-on (set it for 230 V in India). Standard IEC power inlet with fuse tray.
- Speaker outputs are binding posts – use good speaker cable. Do not change the mode switch with the power on.
- Rack-mountable in a standard 19-inch rack (four front mounting holes). Leave space around the sides and top for cooling air.
