Flexible Rig Integration

Connecting the Brown Sound 3 is simple and versatile. Plug your instrument or pre-effects chain directly into the input, and connect the output to a power amp or amp FX return. For direct recording or live sound applications, activate the speaker cab simulation and run straight into a soundcard or PA—no cabinet needed. The DC 9V (300mA) power requirement ensures compatibility with most pedalboard power supplies. Plus, the two footswitch modes (channel toggle or on/off) give you full control over performance dynamics. You can even route your time-based FX between the output and amp return using standard FX loop logic.

Different power amplifiers will affect the outcome of the final tone.You can also connect directly to a sound card and activate the speaker cab simulation for recording purposes

Note: You can connect your “fx loop” effects, like modulation and time based effects, in between the MOOER preamps output and the input of the power amp (fx return)
