Good to know
- A rack-mount kit is available from Cranborne Audio to fit it in a 19″ rack.
- Through C.A.S.T. OUT it can send its preamp and Ext input into a 500R8 or 500ADAT and receive their stereo mix back.
- C.A.S.T. uses shielded Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 7 cable.
FAQ
Can I use it with my USB audio interface?
Yes. Connect the XLR or 1/4″ output to a line input on your interface, and feed your interface’s output into the Aux input to monitor through the EC1’s headphone amp.
Does it work with ribbon microphones?
Yes. The 48V LED shows when phantom power is fully off, so you can plug in a ribbon mic safely.
