I bought this for my 8 year old twins. But it is on the heavy side for kids to hold it between knees and so I bought a stand for holding the drum. It was very difficult to find a stand for the 10 inch one.
Kids have just started drumming, and I am sure they will become more serious when I can arrange drumming classes for them after the current Covid situation changes. I am not a percussionist… but has started drumming even though not regularly, as per YouTube classes and I am enjoying it.

The perfect place to start!
Searching around and then on amazon, the options were limitless. Came accross this brand and then headed to their website for a proper product description. Their Facebook support was very prompt as well!
Now coming to the djembe, its quality is at par with any high end mango wood djembe. 10″ head made of goat skin produces some great tones. The slap is crisp, tone is mellow and base is good althought lacks a bit of resonance which you can adjust by tuning(don’t expect a high resonance from any 10″ djembes).
It looks high end and no doubt with a bit of tuning plays that way too.
P.s. clapbox has also promised bigger sized head djembes in the upcoming few weeks as well.

Beautiful product.. sounding very nice.. good quality wood.. belt not included.. but I got little bit damaged from bottom.. almost 2 inch cracked from bottom.
