   Perfect Passive Bookshelf speakers.

   Pros:

   1. Well built and feels solid. Speakers are quite heavy for its size.

   2. These are passive speakers hence not much to go wrong. Feels like they are made to last.

   3. 6 ohms, should be compatible with most amplifier, which supports 4 ohms to 8 ohms.

   5. Bass and treble is also good.

   6. Size is small perfect and fits on most bookshelf.

   7. Back side connector are with banana connector, so plugging/ unplugging is easy.

   8. Speakers comes with wires as well, but I feel the wire is thinner than needed.

   Overall, value for money. I mostly listen to classical and old Hindi songs and the sound quality is good.

   Product is good but overpriced

   Its fine product as edifier is known for quality, but the crossover network used inside is not mentioned clearly. Wish it came with a 5inch woofer and 1 inch tweeter, that would be better purchase if priced fairly.

   Pros:- Driver size is enough if your starting this music hobby. Build quality and looks is nice.

   Cons:- No mention of proper crossover used inside, MDF thickness not mentioned, and overpriced as at max it should be at ₹9k-10k.

   Comparison:- Similar size speaker is Micca MB42xG2 which has better crossover and priced fairly around ₹13k. Recently some sellers have increased price else it’s available for ₹12k and should be around ₹11k to be fair as it’s a $100 speaker in usa. It has better midrange and comes with magnetic grills. Audio quality and instruments projection on micca is much better compared to this edifier due to good crossover used inside. You can see some YouTube reviews mentioning this problem with this passive edifier.

   So all this considered it needs fair pricing as it’s upgrade Edifier 1700bt is much better buy, plus is an active speaker which retails for around ₹14k during sales else ₹15k making this passive speaker unappealing and unfair priced item with extra purchase(amplifiers and cables) needed to run it.

   La relacion calidad/precio

   Lo primero que hay que tener en cuenta es que son unos altavoces de menos de 100 €

   Luego hay que entender que toda apreciación o valoración tiene que tener esto en cuenta.

   El sonido es nítido, limpio y sin colorear.

   Los bajos son suficientes y los agudos y medios dentro de su rango, excelentes.

   Es una compra estupenda

   Grosser Klang aus kleinem Körper.

   Klein, aber wirklich OHO.

   Ich habe mir die kleinen Edifier bestellt, um meine alten Bausteine von Sony und Pioneer mal wieder zu nutzen. Für ab und an Musik zur Entspannung. Bei den 35 und 39 (!) Jahre alten Bausteinen wollte ich aber keine riesen Boxen mehr sondern kleine Feine Lautsprecher für Regal und Co.

   Leider haben viele von mir bevorzugte Regallautsprecher die Reflexöffnung nach hinten. Kontraproduktiv und damit raus aus der Wertung. Also, geb ich den kleinen mal die Chance.

   Die ersten Minuten: Ich musste die Lautstärke ganz schön hoch drehen. Nach einer Viertelstunde aber konnte ich sie Stück für Stück herunter drehen. Die Lautsprecher brauchen Zeit um sich einzuspielen. Wie alle.

   Und der Klang ist für diesen Preis wirklich sehr gut. Höhen und mitten schön transparent und von den Lautsprechern abgesetzt. Man weiß, wo sie stehen, aber die Musik ist eher direkt vor einem. Nicht wie bei vielen, auch sehr teuren Bluetooth Lautsprechern, welche elektronisch dermaßen angereichert wurden ( meist mit viel Hall) um voluminös zu klingen. Aber genau ortbar sind.

   Nein, die Edifier lösen die Musik schön von sich.

   Basswunder: Irgendwie schon, WENN sie passend aufgestellt werden (Regallautsprecher, ruhig mal rein damit).Der 4 Zöller gibt ganz schön was von sich.

   Andernfalls holt man sich nen kleinen günstigen Aktiv Subwoofer dazu.

   Als was sie sich noch sehr gut eigenen: Für Surround Systeme. Als kleine Front oder Rear Lautsprecher machen sie aufgrund ihres Klanges einen sehr guten Job. Auch das habe ich getestet mit der Hauptanlage im Wohnzimmer. Trotzdem: Sie kommen ins Büro und dürfen uns dort mit den “Rentnergeräten” begeistern. Und ganz ehrlich: Wenn das Knistern und knacken von Schallplatten, ein leichtes Geleier von Kassetten oder ab und an eine Störung im alten Tuner zu hören ist und in diesem Umfang aus den kleinen Dingern so toll wiedergegeben wird: Einfach wie früher. Analog. Mechanisch. Unglaublich faszinierend. DAS ist Musik!

   Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

   Nachtrag: Spielen fast täglich in unserem Regal und sie begeistern uns für diesen Preis und Größe absolut. Nur die beiden alleine mit guten klassischen Bausteinen ohne Subwoofer, Equalizer o.ä.

   Kaufen, freuen!

   Muy buenos altavoces calidad precio

   No puedo comentar mucho más que por el precio que tienen realmente se escuchan de 10 el sonido es algo cálido, aunque depende también de la ecualización, dac y amp al que se conecte pero el sonido que brindan es de muy buena calidad por el precio, la construcción igual se sienten de muy muy buena calidad y tienen un diseño muy bonito para mí gusto. En definitiva lo más destacado es el sonido que incluso los altavoces solos sin necesidad de un subwoofer ya suenan muy bien, obvio si tienes salida de subwoofer le vas a dar más presencia al sonido. En conclusión es una inversión segura muy accesible.

   Gerçek bir fiyat/performans ürünü

   1975 model dual pikap için aldım. Hoparlör için ayrılan alandan kazanç sağlamanın yanında ses kalitesindeki artış çok yüksek. Genel olarak frekanslar çok dengeli ve amfi üzerindeki EQ ayarlarında yapacağınız değişiklikliklere hassasiyetle yanıt veriyor. Bu fiyata bu kalite ve performansı bulmak gerçekten zor.

   Best for $140?

   I am currently using these in the living room of my apartment. They just arrived. I am powering them from a FOSI Class D power amp and a FOSI tube preamp.

   My initial audition music was Cantate Domino, a classical recording from Proprius Records, and Ana Caram – Rio after Dark, a Brazilian music album from Chesky Records. I’m very familiar with these recordings, so I know what to expect on playback.

   I have no subwoofer, and the speakers are sitting on cardboard boxes adjacent to the TV, for the time being. I had to crank up the bass on the amp, to get decent lows from the speakers. I cranked up the treble too, but I am almost 70 years old, so, if you are younger, this may not be needed.

   I am very happy with the sound from these speakers. They seem to be very unfussy to set up for decent imaging. They sounded very good, and quite uncolored for speakers costing only $140. I would say they are about as good as some British mini-monitors I owned 40 years ago, which cost about $700, if memory serves. So, we have come a long way in speaker design and materials in the last few decades.

   These speakers are not perfect, but I don’t know anything better for $140. All my best to you, on your search for the perfect audio system.

   Added:

   Just put on Tocatta and Fugue in D by Bach. This is on YouTube, from the largest organ in the world, in Atlantic City. This organ was built in 1932, and has over 33000 pipes, in 8 pipe lofts, in an arena style building.

   My living room is about 15×25 feet, with the speakers adjacent to the TV on the long wall.

   I cranked up the volume. This organ is bone crushing, and the organist is very good. You can crank up the bass until it sounds right. I was real, real happy with these little speakers. And, it was plenty loud enough. At the end, the organist hits the coupler, turning on all pipes. The loudness jumps by about 3 times. These little speakers held on, with no appreciable distortion. Amazing speakers for $140.

   Can’t wait to add a 15 inch subwoofer.

   These are on either side of a 55 inch TV, which is on the floor. Speakers are just below the top of the screen. I changed speaker position from vertical to horizontal, tweeters on the outside. I wasn’t entirely happy with the imaging. So, went to horizontal, tweeters on the inside.

   Bang!!! Perfect imaging, with great soundstage depth. Love it!!!

   Anyone coming in here and listening would think this is a much more expensive system.

   Give it a try. Your milage may obviously vary.
