Vocal Leveler 500 makes music simple.You don’t want to spend hours writing automation or searching for the correct plug-in setting. You’re on the go but don’t want to miss the fantastic Tegeler sound.If this describes you, then our new Vocal Leveler is ideal for you! We took the Opto Compressor from our Vari Tube Recording Channel and converted it to smaller 500 formats for you. The input transformer, opto compressor, and FET properly translate the Tegeler sound to the 500 format. Our in-house transformers provide harmonic basic saturation from the start. The signal is then routed through our tried-and-true The Vocal Leveler is a classic optical compressor with no frills, a true opto circuit from the VTRC.
Vocal Leveler: The FET refines the sound to be warm and tube-like. The Vocal Leveler is a traditional optical compressor with no extras.With only two knobs for gain reduction and output volume, you have all the parameters you need to get fast and convincing results. The connection feature and stepped potentiometers make it simple to analyze stereo signals and recall your settings. You may also modify the compressor’s reaction times with a toggle switch, preparing you for a wide range of recording or mixing scenarios.
The Vocal Leveler’s musical compression nature, which is typical of optical compressors, makes it a versatile dynamics tool useful for more than just voices. Bass, acoustic guitars, and other signals benefit greatly from its smooth, subtle compression. Even when pushed harder, the Vocal Leveler stays transparent and unobtrusive, providing ideal protection against overwhelming signal peaks while recording without compromising the microdynamics or character of your audio signal.
