Good to know
- Needs a 500 Series rack (lunchbox) with one free slot; power comes from the rack.
- Positive Attack adds punch; negative Attack softens it. Positive Sustain lengthens the decay; negative Sustain shortens it, for example to reduce room sound.
- For more channels in a 19-inch rack, SPL makes the Transient Designer 4 Mk2.
FAQ
Do I need to set a threshold?
No. The Transient Designer works level-independently, so only Attack and Sustain are needed.
Can I use it for parallel processing?
Yes. The Mix control blends the processed and the dry signal.
