Good to know
- Both devices must have balanced (TRS) jacks to get the noise-rejection benefit; with a mono (TS) jack it works as a normal unbalanced cable.
- Common use: audio interface or mixer outputs to active studio monitors with 1/4-inch TRS inputs (you need two cables for a stereo pair).
FAQ
Can I use it for guitar?
It will work, but an instrument cable with mono plugs (such as the DHS100) is the usual choice for guitar.
How many do I need for a pair of studio monitors?
Two – one for the left and one for the right speaker.
