Sound synthesis is powered by a sophisticated engine combining Resonant, Subtractive, and FM synthesis techniques. This provides a broad palette of sonic textures, from deep kicks and sharp snares to resonant toms and complex percussion sounds. The new factory preset libraries categorize sounds into 10 groups, such as Kicks, Snares, Toms, and Cymbals, enabling quick sound selection and customization.

Integrated global stereo Reverb and Delay effects add spatial depth and ambiance, with adjustable levels per channel to tailor the mix precisely. Additional effects like Drive, Crush, and EQ provide further tonal shaping directly on the unit, eliminating the need for external processors.
