This is NOT a beginner’s guitar amp , neither is this meant for gigging or recording. If you’re looking for it, you’ll find much better amps with just spending 2-3k more. If you want an amp with amazing portability and for fun while you’re going around with friends or traveling, this is a perfect choice. This can be used as a practice amp in bedroom, just lying on your bed and always available to play. Now coming to sound. It sounds exactly as it should,that is , like a baby Marshall. It has the same growl just more babyish. The build quality is amazing for the price. You can even play this amp on full volume, completely cranked up, this will still would amazing without buzz and the speaker seems to bear it well. I have used many amps and this has been a problem with most that you cannot play an amp at full volume without destroying it’s speakers. So, my final impression on it is that if you are buying it for what it’s meant, it will not disappoint you

Pros -First, This product looks damn sexy, is sturdy and powerful.Second, it will work along with every type of guitar.Third, the volume at OD feature is beyond expectations. Way louder than any other mini amp in comparison.Fourth, It is easy to carry and can be hanged to the belt buckle. So its easy to play guitar and move around without worry.Fifth, it can be run by a 9V battery as well as a 9 V charger, which is quite easily available.Sixth, It has a headphones jack which makes it cooler than iphone 7 :D. It can also be used to connect to another speaker. Such features. Much wow! :PCons-First, it doesn’t come along any kind of battery. So buy a 9 volt battery or adapter prior to ordering the product from Amazon. Don’t forget to buy a guitar cable too. :DSecond, The volume at clear mode is a bit low. OD is just volume booster not real OD. Because of 1W speaker it distorts like OD not at less volume. Even if it’s kept in clean mode at higher volume, it distorts like OD.

The sound output from the speaker of this amplifier suddenly drops to 0 … have tried this on multiple guitars but after just minimal use for about a year this amplifier is giving problems… The sound output through Headphones is much better as compared to the inbuilt speakers (1W).. Great little amp. Built well and great finish. Looks absolutely amazing. It is what it is though. You get the typical Marshall dirty tone but clean is a disaster. Tried it across different guitars and settings. There’s that annoying jarring sound, even at half the volume. Go for it if you need OD. Buy something else if you need a clean tone.

You can hear the overdrive mode even when it’s not switched on. The sound is not clean at all. Very contrary to a Marshall product. Not a good buy.

Ordered it, received a defective product. The box it came in was opened, not sealed. The ON/OFF functionality wasn’t working, I had to remove the battery/power supply for the unit to switch off. Had it sent back and got a refund.Aside from that, the unit worked fine enough. It does a very basic job, it isn’t too loud. I wasn’t really happy with the sound either. It looks pretty cute, but that’s about it.Would not recommend this.

For something so small and inexpensive the Marshall MS-2 is great.It has volume(1-10) and tone(also1-10) knobs. Its overdrive(distortion)function is brilliant.People going for expensive guitar/cheap amp should buy this.It is not suitable for big rooms/halls.Also has a headphone jack for people with short tempered neighbours ;).If battery runs out,you can plug it in using an adaptor and continue playing.Also,it can be attached to your belt.Overall, loved this amp and suggest it for guitarists of all types

Best bang for the buck
Was looking for a cheap, decent looking, and portable amp for my guitar to which I stumbled upon this masterpiece that looked fenomenal with a cute “handle” that does not work but is funny and I don’t mind it.I had a 100$ vox practice amp prior to this and still do to which is louder and clearer but not as portable so if you want an amp that is affordable, loud, and has the starter kit of effects (overdrive and clean) please do not hesitate to get this amazing product.
