Back in the day, before M-Audio was M-Audio, everybody and their dog had a Midiman MIDISPORT 4×4 USB-MIDI I/O. Seriously, these things were everywhere. Know why? It’s because Midiman built their super-reliable MIDI interfaces out of metal. That’s right – no cheap plastic housing to get crushed under the weight of your gear, we’re talking solid metal. The only problem was that they were a spleen-wrenching shade of off-seasick green that nobody could stand. Well, M-Audio didn’t get where they are today without evolving and changing based on the needs of their customers, and that’s why they reissued the classic MIDISPORT 4×4 Anniversary Edition in tasteful black. Now you the same great plug-and-play, 4-in/4-out MIDI interface with the hard-wired THRU switch that generations of sequencing cats have counted on for years and years, but in a tasteful color that matches your gear.
