Control your sound with your foot while both hands stay on the keys. The M-Audio EX-P is a universal expression controller pedal. Plug it into the expression pedal input of your MIDI controller or keyboard and use it to sweep volume, modulation, panning, filters and more.
Why customers choose it
Who it is for
Keyboard players on stage and in church, home studio producers using a MIDI controller, and anyone who wants smooth swells and sweeps while playing – for example volume swells on pads and strings, or a slow filter sweep on a synth.

Good to know
- Plug it into an expression pedal input. A sustain input only takes on/off signals and will not work with an expression pedal.
- If the pedal works backwards (heel and toe reversed), turn it over and flip the polarity switch. If it still acts up, switch your keyboard off, connect the pedal, then switch it back on.
- If the pedal only changes a small part of the range, turn the side dial clockwise.
- Need an on/off pedal for sustain instead? Use a separate sustain pedal.
FAQ
Will it work with my keyboard if it is not M-Audio?
Most likely yes, if your keyboard has an expression pedal input. The polarity switch makes it compatible with most other brands.
Can I use it as a sustain pedal?
No. It sends continuous data for expression inputs. For sustain, use a sustain pedal.
