The Fluid Audio DS8 desktop monitor stands are designed for use with all 7” and 8” 2-way studio monitors. They come with the ability to elevate your monitors to two heights: 3” and 6”. With the included rubber feet, the stands become an acoustic isolation system that can adjust to 3 angles: Flat, 3 and 6 degrees of tilt.
Elevating your monitors closer to ear-level means you get better on-axis response. As the high frequencies coming from tweeters can be somewhat directional (or “beamy”), getting them up and closer to ear level means you hear a more full-frequency response.

Elevating your monitors improves on-axis response and enhances overall sound accuracy—critical for professional mixing, mastering, and listening. With its modular design and advanced isolation technology, the DS8 ensures a clean, undistorted audio experience.
The DS8 stands offer two height options—3 inches and 6 inches—allowing you to position your monitors exactly where you need them. In addition to vertical adjustment, the stands also support three tilt settings: flat, 3 degrees, and 6 degrees. These tilt options help align tweeters with your ears, enhancing directional high-frequency detail and improving stereo imaging.
Built for acoustic integrity, the middle stabilizers are crafted from vinyl-laminated MDF, the same material used in most studio monitors. The posts are made from polypropylene plastic, which offers a sturdier and less resonant alternative to traditional ABS plastic. Both the top and bottom of the stands are fitted with Fluid’s proprietary 40-durometer rubber feet. This rubberized silicone not only absorbs vibrations but also minimizes low-end muddiness, giving your monitors a purer sound with less midrange distortion.
