Description

From the manufacturer

If the raw, Neanderthal power of history’s most-sought after stomp boxes inspires you to plug in, turn on and rock out, it’s time to expand your mind with the SUPER FUZZ SF300. This amazing pedal gives you 3 different sound modes for classic fuzz, grunge and gain boost, controllable via the dedicated Gain, Level and 2-band EQ controls.

Three Modes of Operation

With the SF300’s three unique sound modes you can: channel the grittiest tones of underground proto-punk legends; update your sound into a crunchy industrial cacophony; or opt for a pure gain boost that will shred the competition!

Easy to Use

Dedicated Level, Gain, Treble and Bass dials provide tons of tone-shaping options. The SF300’s shiny status LED tells you when this wild thing is activated, and a top-quality on/off switch maintains optimum signal integrity in bypass mode. You can power the SF300 with our PSU-SB DC power supply (not included) or a 9 V battery.

Value

Whether your sound is overdue for a psychotic overhaul – or you just want to cause some inter-dimensional mayhem, reach for the Super Fuzz SF300. Three stomps in one – a deal that’s hard to beat, and the SF300.

10 reviews for Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal

  1. Rohan Arthur

This baby spanks. Dirty gritty smooth doomy, it does it all. Even if your genre doesn’t support fuzzy sounds, I suggest you just but this pedal. Costs so less, and who knows maybe it will inspire you to include something.Lots of comments about the build quality. Look, for the price you’re gonna get plastic housing only. But it seems very sturdy and looks like it will stand the test of time, provided you’re reasonably gentle with it.

  2. Z from Azl, Mizoram

An early seventies fuzz, a scooped Muff-esque fuzz, and an, unfortunately, noisy boost are encapsulated in an orange plastic housing. Excellent value! “ABS plastic” 😄. Excellent for an expeditionary foray into the sonics of fuzz! The pedal does not have to be first in your signal chain like a vintage unit and handles low gain overdrives before it with aplomb. If you don’t mind a rip off of Boss, buy it, it will serve your ears well!

The pedal delivers the classic fuzz sound rock and roll music started with. There is no control for Mid frequencies. These are present differently in FUZZ1 and 2 position of MODE switch. These frequencies cannot be cut or boosted but there’s facility for this for Bass and High frequencies. And this is exactly how it started from Hendrix to Ted Nugent and so on. Now Post-Thrash, Stoner and Doom/Death Metal players playing in Dorian/Aeolian mode would love this more. This is a good pedal for any level player and should be placed at the earlier stage of the signal path from guitar to amp before Overdrive and Distortion pedals. The 2 buttons make it 2 different pedals included in 1. So where’s the third? If you need a booster pedal in the signal chain because you play a guitar with ceramic pick ups, this pedal delivers that. Turn LEVEL to 0, set both TREBLE and BASS to mid or 12 O’clock position and set MODE switch to BOOST. Now adjust GAIN as needed and you have a BOOSTER!I cut one star for my personal reason that I play with very low Distortion levels and amp volume = 2 and amp is connected to PC via Line-In. Most of my pedals perform good at 12 O’Clock position of all knobs. Here that’s not the case. Off-course, this will not be the case if you have a branded amp! So this is only a personal opinion.

  4. Amazon Customer

Awesome product. I mainly play grunge music, for which fuzz 2 works like a charm. Build is good. Overall satisfied.

  5. Pedal Fetish

I’m glad I picked this up. I was skeptical about Behringer pedals at first mainly due to write-ups about its plastic housing etc. This pedal is a killer for those who want the Hendrix and Black Sabbath tone. At age 64, this takes me back to the summer of ’69!!!

  6. Rajesh Kapoor

This is the real deal.Behringers are cheap cuz they intend to keep prices down .This pedal is a must have in your symphony of distruction…..It gives boss a run for it’s fuzz

  7. Vinayak

    excellent pedal for stoner-doom.

  8. KRK

Consumes battery very fast. Need to buy special type of adopter and it is very expensive

  9. brendon jake warren
