The product is good, but the mic in itself is so sensitive to sound if you don’t have a proper studio, go for dynamic mic…else AT2020 is a good microphone.

This mic is extremely sensitive and captures soft whispered vocals and soft guitar passages beautifully.However, for those of us who have been used to UNIDIRECTIONAL mics for recording vocals in the past, be aware that with its combination of AMAZING SENSITIVITY and CARDIOID directionality, this mic needs a WELL INSULATED recording environment as otherwise it will pick up conversations and TV background from adjacent rooms, etc.Other than that, I found that despite its stated CARDIOID pick up pattern, this side-address mic still picks up a fair amount of sound even from the rear and top of the mic.On the plus side, it had a well detailed, all-metal build which gives it a sturdy feel.
