2-Channel 140 W Power Amplifier
The SDA1 is a two-channel Class D amplifier for studio and installation use.
Class D amplifiers have several advantages compared to traditional linear amp designs. Theyre extremely efficient, so they generate less heat. Since they dont require large heat sinks, they can be smaller and lighter. They also dont require internal cooling fans, making them an excellent choice for critical listening environments that require a low noise floor.
The SDA1 can deliver 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms, 400 watts at 8 ohms when bridged to mono, and 280 watts when bridged to mono for 70V line operation. Its stable into loads as low as 2 ohms in stereo mode and 4 ohms in bridged mono mode.
Each channel has an independent volume control and status LEDs to indicate signal activity, clipping, and thermal protection. The rear panel has balanced XLR and 1/4 TRS inputs, and binding post outputs for bare wire, banana plug, or spade connectors.
With quiet operation, flexible connectivity, ample power, and a flat frequency response, the SDA1 is a versatile amplifier for control rooms and commercial installs.
