D’Addario NYXL0942 Nickel Plated Electric Guitar Strings

Super-light strings that bend easily, stay in tune and cut through the band. D’Addario NYXL0942 is a 09-42 Super Light set of NYXL nickel-plated steel strings – D’Addario’s premium uncoated electric string. Compared with its standard strings, NYXL has higher break strength, better tuning stability and a stronger mid-range.

Why customers choose it

• Tuning stability: Fusion Twist technology keeps NYXL in tune better than D’Addario’s standard strings.
• Strength: the NY Steel core wire gives higher break strength – good for heavy bending.
• Cuts through: premium nickel-plated steel wrap wire accentuates mid-range for more presence and crunch.
• Easy playing: 9-42 Super Light is easy to bend and very flexible.
• Made in the USA at D’Addario’s New York factory.

Who it is for

Lead guitarists who bend a lot, beginners on electric guitar who want a light feel, and players of rock, blues and pop who want their solos to cut through.
