Is it compatible with my old XYH-6 or SGH-6 capsule?
Zoom lists capsule system 3.0 compatibility with the SSH-6e, EXH-6e and XYH-6e.
Can I stream with it?
Yes. Use it as a USB audio interface and record a backup to microSD at the same time.

Best tool for field recording
If you are starting field recording or do outdoor video production Zoom H6 Studio or Zoom H5 studio are indispensable tool, you get everything is a small portable package. Great inbuilt mic for most of the general purpose work. If you have a narrator or character in the video, he/she/they can have a lavelier microphone or a shotgun mic with a boom pole. You get to attach 4 more mic for H6 and 2 more for H5 which is enough for small video crew.

Excellent Recording Quality and Perfect for Voice-Over Work
Excellent recorder and exactly what I was hoping for. The Zoom H6studio feels solid, well built, and like a quality piece of professional audio equipment right out of the box.
I mainly bought it for voice-over work and remote recording, and it has worked out perfectly for what I need. The recording quality is excellent—clean, detailed, and very natural sounding. It’s also nice having something portable that still gives me high-quality audio when I’m away from my main studio setup.
It’s easy to use, the controls feel good, and the unit doesn’t have that cheap or flimsy feel that some portable recorders can have.
It also arrived quickly and was very well packaged.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Zoom H6studio. For voice-over, auditions, remote sessions, or general portable recording, it’s been a great purchase and I would definitely recommend it.

Bello davvero e fatto meglio dell’H6 precedente edizione. Il software è tutt’altra cosa rispetto al vecchio; ora ha anche la lingua IT. Sensibilità dei microfoni XY eccellente, come anche i vecchi dell’H6 precedente, ma migliorati e con la tecnologia float a 32 bit con gamma dinamica di 132 dB che l’altro non aveva, e molte altre caratteristiche aggiunte. Tutto eccellente…. ma…
Un paio di nei ci sono, e uno lo aveva anche il vecchio H6: se qualcuno lo usa anche all’aperto, non è impermeabile o almeno anti polvere. No non ha niente, salvo se gli metti una cappottina fatta da te o la custodia dell’H6, ma non gli và bene perchè è più grande del vecchio H6 di oltre 20mm, brutta tra l’altro, che un pò lo riparerebbe, ma solo un pò….
E poi gli manca un telecomando a filo o meglio ancora via BT da smartphone, ma ci sarebbe l’app, che in pratica non fa altro che accenderlo e spengerlo, non puoi nemmeno mettere i marcatori. È fatta male, ma se fosse migliorata sarebbe buona…. se la migliorano… ma ne dubito!

Perfekt für spontane Sessions auf Reisen und kleinere Proben als musikalisches Duo. Für uns, Galvin & Hölzl, erfüllt es alle wesentlichen Anforderungen und erleichtert durch seine Features die Aufnahme von Stimmen und Instrumenten. Es gibt ja auch nicht do viele Alternativen mit 4 XLR Eingängen.
Drei Sachen, die meiner Meinung nach nicht zum stolzen Preis passen und verbesserungsbedürftig sind:
1) Immer noch werden 4 Stk. AA Batterien zum Betrieb benötigt, statt einer wechselbaren Akku-Lösung. Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
2) Ein Bluetooth-Modul, das angesteckt aus dem Gehäuse herausragt, muss separat erworben werden, um das H6studio kabellos per Smartphone steuern zu können.
3) Das Display ist ziemlich klein, hat eine geringe Auflösung, einen minimalistischen Funktionsumfang und ist, da kein Touchscreen, umständlich per Rädchen und Button zu bedienen. Das können Mitbewerber besser.

Excellent Product
Excellent Product, took a chance by placing this international order first time from Japan to India and I am happy that the product was delivered before time via DHL and the experience is just awesome. Coming to the product, i ordered it because of its Pre amps, the F6 is not avialble in Indian market and importing it from US is very expensive, even Japan Amazon did not have the stock, hence ordered the H6 at reasonable price and I am happy with the product.
