Superb revealing sound
These are real studio monitor speakers and also very large and heavy. People looking for multimedia speaker should keep away from this.
Build and design- suberb manolithic design and build is rock solid.
Accessories- only power cord.
Sound-They have nearly flat sound with bright mids, smooth highs with light tight bass.
Mids- Mids are bright thin sounding. They reveal suberbly. But they are unpleasant to listen for long duration. If you increase volume to get bass punch the mids becomes too bright and powerfull which causes ear fatigue. So low to moderate volume is best. Nealy 60 to 80db.. more then that it causes ear fatigue within short time.
Highs- Highs are suberb smooth and refined. They are not as harsh as other monitors.
Bass- Bass is of very high quality and precise. But they lack quantity compared to other 8 inch monitors. This is a blessing because this speakers can easily used in moderate to large rooms. With some room treatment it can also be used in small rooms. They do not push too much air or create high pressure like multimedia speakers. So bass do not compromise other sound frequencies. Everything sounds crystal clear across the freq range.
For most people woofer is not required. They cover lows till 40hz easily. But for people who want to work on bass part very accurately like in back ground score or bass heavy music they may need woofer. And also these speakers needs some volume to give out bass accurately. So people who work on projects for many hours a day, may need accuracy at very low volume to protect their ear, may need woofer separately.
Soundstage/Imaging- Imaging is very good and accurate. But placement of the speakers and room is very important to get clear image. Some experiment is required to get it accurate.
Setting: There is volume control, room/low freq trim and high freq trim so that we can easily adjust to our room condition.
At this price range these are the most analytical monitors. They can also be used as multimedia speakers but you should have high quality sound files which are also be of high grade recording /mastered.
Lastly they are huge and heavy. So decide according to room size or working space. You should keep them atleast 2 to 3 feet away from wall. Two speakers should be separated atleast 5 feet and you should sit in a position which creates equilateral triangle.
So if you are into professional sound mixing this will do the job.
NOTE: CANNOT BE USED FOR TV’s as they are too much revealing which makes sound unpleasant.

Great monitors but probably an overkill for me at this time as I do not have the right setup to use it effectively.
This is a highly rated monitor and have heard and read many good things about it. I purchased it to mix my songs which I have programmed at home.I loved the sound and the bass coming out from the monitor. But ironically, later on, when I listened to the mixes in consumer grade speakers, the mixes were lacking in how I had imagined. This is certainly due to my inexperience and the fact that the room in which I used them is a very small one with absolutely no acoustic treatment. On the other hand, I recently purchased a small mono speaker from the street at Rs. 250 and the mixes I am doing on it are holding up better. So bottomline is, simply having the best professional quality product out their is not going to do anything unless you are really trained and experienced enough to use them in the right manner. I hope I will be able to get the right things out of this awesome monitor in future once I have the right homestudio setup.

Using for my 100sqft room @10% volume
When I saw the initial reviews I thought this will be suitable only for a bigger studio, but I am happily using it in my hundred square feet room at 25 percentage volume set on volume knobs behind the speakers. Make sure your external devices volume is set to 0 before it is connected to the speaker. otherwise you may have a sudden loud noise

Danke bin rundum zufrieden!!!

Very happy with this investment!
These units are great (I’ve bought two). I couldn’t compare them to any other studio monitor, as they’re the first I’ve bought, but the sound quality beats anything I have in my home, or anything my friends have. It sounds crisp and clean, enabling me to be able to effectively mix and master properly to the best of my current ability as a bedroom producer.
Only thing that made me worry, was that one of them started to make a kind of mid to high pitch monotone sound after I had been using it for about 8-10 hours straight one day. Worried me right after the fact, but the next day I fired them up and they didn’t have any issues. Only happened once so far, but I was probably asking for it after using them for so long (no, I wasn’t crazy on the volume either.)
Just want to remind people, they’re studio monitors, not a PA system. All my friends had expected that they’d be louder. They’re meant for accuracy, not brute strength.
As my first studio monitor purchase, very pleased!
(Been using for about 5 months, moderate to heavy use)

Probably the Best Studio monitor on the market
I’ve used a few of these from various brands, and I’ve kept these. I use them for PC music, but mostly for guitar with a Fractal Axe Fx III. I do wish they had more connection types on the back and I had to EQ them a bit for guitar use. It’s a Yamaha, and well built, but while I understand why they don’t have speaker grills( to not block any sound ) I do wish I had the option for Magnetic speaker grills as they very exposed to possible damage.

Perfect at home studio monitors
I have not heard a better sound at this price point for studio monitors. I can clearly hear details and other subtle nuances when recording and mixing.
