Aria AGS 800XL Electric Guitar String set

An easy-bending 9-42 set for lighter touch and faster lead playing. The Aria Pro II AGS-800XL is a nickel plated round wound electric guitar set with a hexagonal core, in extra light 9-42 gauge.

Why customers choose it

• Bright, clear tone: Aria says the AGS-800 series is known for bright highs, precise pitch and clear projection.
• Classic construction: nickel plated steel wire wound around a hexagonal core.
• Extra light 9-42: the gauge chart is printed below so you can compare it with your current set.
• Plain top three: E, B and G are plain steel; D, A and low E are nickel plated round wound.
• From a guitar maker: made under the Aria Pro II name by Aria Guitars of Japan.

Who it is for

Beginners whose fingers are still getting used to steel strings, and lead players who bend a lot. Works for practice, lessons, rehearsals and live playing on any standard electric guitar.

Specifications

Good to know

• This is a single set. For a slightly heavier feel, the AGS-800L is the 10-46 version.
• Lighter strings can buzz a little on a guitar set up for heavier gauges – a small setup adjustment may help.
• Made for electric guitars – not for acoustic guitars.

FAQ
