Value for money, Superior sound, ergonomic design to use
A perfect choice for beginners. Nice sturdy unit with comfortable sitting position. The sound quality is much Superior if you are a road or stage performer. Being a snare unit, may not be best suitable for a recording studio but otherwise, a perfect pick.
What I liked most is the adustable snare option. It gives you flexibility to you to quickly switch between hard Rock and so called typical Indian folk kind of sound.
The build and quality of the equemt is also good.
Overall, a good choice for sound quality, ease of use and has very good value for money.

Very very good product and awesome packing
It plays great. Has good bass as well as high and snare response. As it is black in colour the oak wood is not clearly seen but one can see the grains. One thing I must say the packing of the product was more than expected. The instrument was packed with such a care that it could endure any kind of extreme handling. Coming to the adjustable snare it works precisely and sounds very good. The only thing that is a little bit different is that except the tapa or the playing surface the rest sides are probably made of mdf board. However one cannot expect all sides solid wood ply in this price point. Overall performance is very good. Just go for it. You’ll not be disappointed. Long live team clapbox……

I am extremely happy with Clapbox’s product and service. The product looks great and premium. It has a good sound quality. Love the bass and the adjustable snare option. It gives m joy when I sit on it and play. I have already played it in a couple of shows and people loved it. It sounds good with the mic too. The quality of the wood is good, hopefully it will last long. I was also lucky to get a coupon along with it which made me eligible to get an egg shaker for free. Clapbox was very proactive to follow up with me on this and send me the egg shaker. I also bought the Cajon when the Amazon great Indian sale was going on. So I got it for a very reasonable price. Very happy with Clapbox. 🙂

Beginners Delight to percussion
After spending months on thinking whether to buy this or not finally I took the decision to buy it and i am enjoying playing it everyday.
It’s amazingly easy to play provided you know basics of rhythm. The drum occupies a very small portion and can be sneaked into any corner. The base notes with snares are superb and even when snare is removed it gives a deep note.
There are small tutorials available online but the drum is a self starter and i could experiment different rhythm patterns. It sounds great with Bollywood thumping party numbers and with EDM.
For amateurs with a flair to play rhythm this is a good first buy to train your hands and ears to music

The product was slightly defective. Hence 4 stars.
The quality is decent.
The product was slightly defective. When you play it in full snare then there is one spring which is loose and make additional noise which is pretty significant that anybody will notice.
But if I play it in half snare then it works fine. I decided not to exchange it. I don’t know why.
Nonetheless, this is my first time playing Cajon, and overall I’d say it is easy to play. Good for beginners++
P.S. – Your friends might make fun of you and will ask you to play “Shirdi waale Sai baba” on train to earn some extra bucks. Because mine did too. But don’t lose the hope. You’ll enjoy it once you play one full song.

Arrived in states time frame. Completely assembled upon delivery. Use this with a DW pedal for one the many projects I am involved with. Sounds good, snare throw off works perfectly. Overall a good purchase for my needs.
