(I changed the pick guard if you’re wondering)First of all, honestly this guitar sounds better than a Fender Strat Guitar. The price is absolutely goated for this guitar. I don’t know why but this guitar doesn’t sound like 350 dollars. It feels and its sounds like a thousand dollar guitar. Yamaha is one of the best brands and underrated brands that you can buy for a strat guitar. Absolutely freaking love it!!

Good all round guitar
Solidly built in Indonesia the Yamaha Pacifica is a nice guitar. Not too heavy and a comfortable neck. Pickups seem very loud to me especially the humbucker. Good though. 5 way switch so lot so alot of sound variety. The only neg is the tremolo which works fine but can get in the way of the volume and treble adjustment knobs if you’re not too careful. From funk to punk it can pretty much do anything like most Strat style guitars. Good value. Mine did not have a strap though I always use my old Rick strap anyway.

Great Guitar, issues with the shipping
I am a guitar collector, always wanted a low cost Yamaha. Pac112 is the cats meow. Fast neck, alnico pickups never disappoint, the guitar is comfortable in size and great to play. Love the sound, very bell like tones, not as beefy as my higher end fender pickups in other guitars I have, but for the price, what u get is excellent. Would be happy to have this as my only guitar absolutely.4 stars because I received it with slight damage, the outside shipping box was fine, but the inside Yamaha box had a smashed-in hole at the base of the box. When I opened it up sure enough the guitar had a small chip at the base of the body near the strap button. Not completely terrible since u cannot see it unless u look for it, but still, IMO poor quality QA on the part of the seller to ship a guitar before checking it out (no other explanation I can think of considering what I saw). Anyway, to the seller’s credit, we did work out a discount and they were also willing to take it back if I really wanted to return it. I was satisfied with the discount.Bottom line, I have yet to be disappointed with Yamaha and this guitar is excellent value for the price. Sounds awesome!
