Yamaha FP9500D Single Bass Drum Pedal – Direct Drive

A professional Yamaha single pedal with fast direct drive, a 2-way beater and a stable sub-frame design. The Yamaha FP9500D is a single bass drum pedal from Yamaha’s FP9500 series, with a direct drive.

Why customers choose it

• Stable frame: Yamaha’s original sub-frame just below the rocker shaft adds stability and durability.
• 2-way beater: one side felt, the other plastic for a feel close to wood; a teardrop shaft hole stops the beater from swivelling.
• Set it your way: beater angle and footboard angle adjust independently; footboard angle is set with a tuning key so you can match your other pedals.
• Easy spring tension: one-hand spring tension adjustment with a lock bolt so it does not loosen during play; spring roller with precision bearings.
• Secure hoop clamp: wing-bolt clamp fits different hoop thicknesses; rubber-coated tie rod ends keep footboard and base frame together.

Who it is for

Drummers who want a dependable pro pedal for gigs, church, studio and practice – and students moving up from an entry-level pedal.
