This thing is AWESOME. I have been playing guitar for almost 15 years, and have been really looking for something to help me take my basic keyboard skills to the next level. This instrument sounds and feels very professional and is insanely fun to play. The touch pad/pressure bar allows you to add a ton of expression to your playing, and the additional neck buttons help you really make your sound your own. I understand they can be remapped too. There are a TON of preset instruments, including guitars, and so far I think they all sound pretty good. I really recommend this to anyone looking to step up their keyboard playing.And one last note, the fact that I can stand up and walk around whole playing this really helps encourage me to practice playing with it.

I feel like it could have some adjustments on the headstock/neck of the keytar in regards to the features or button placements, but I am used to stretching because of guitar. — Definitely the most fun I have had with an instrument in a long time. So glad I made the purchase.One thing I will say, as they typically don’t have resources to customize the faceplates, you are pretty much on your own, but there are a lot of clever ideas people have done you can see on reddit.

I Feel Like a Rock Star
The Roland Ax Edge Keytar is amazing, fun, easy to play, and, best of all, has really great sounds. I love the bass presets especially (funky like K-Lab stuff) and the lead guitars are really cool (shredding like Zakk Wylde), the vocoder gives me flashbacks that can take several minutes to come down from. I would definitely buy it again. I have a lot of different synths, but this is really, really cool. Buy it on sale if you can, but you won’t be happy until you have one of your own, seriously.
