Just like the original, Cali dual has a lush clean channel that’s very versatile and a drive channel that goes from low gain to insane!!!
MOOER micro preamps are sonically accurate digital recreations of the preamp sections of popular tube amplifiers. We have developed these by directly analyzing real tube amplifiers using a brand new technology to capture their sound, dynamics and response. Each Micro Preamp comes complete with dual channels, integrated speaker cabinet simulation and dual operating modes to suit the needs of all users.
The Mooer Cali Dual Micro Preamp captures the essence of a classic 100-watt Californian head known for its crushing drive and sparkling cleans. Using MOOER’s advanced tone capture technology, the Cali Dual replicates the dynamics, warmth, and response of a real tube amplifier. Each Micro Preamp is a precise digital emulation of an actual amp’s preamp circuit, making it feel incredibly natural under the fingers. With dual channels, individual 3-band EQs, and separate gain/volume knobs, you can sculpt your sound just like on a real amp. Built-in cabinet simulation can be toggled on or off, making the pedal perfect for direct input into audio interfaces, mixers, or powered speakers. This is digital convenience with analog realism in one rugged mini unit.
Designed to fit seamlessly into any rig, the Cali Dual makes setup easy. Connect your guitar or pedal chain to the input, and run the output into a power amp or amp FX return for optimal tone. Need to record directly? Activate the built-in cab simulation and plug straight into your soundcard or PA system. The unit supports two footswitching modes—either to toggle the pedal on/off or switch between the A/B channels, perfect for live performance flexibility. Mooer recommends using a stable 9V DC center-negative power supply with at least 300mA current to get the best performance.

Connect your instrument directly or the output of your pre, pre-amp effects like Overdrive, distortion, etc.

Connect to a power amp or your amplifier’s effects return.(Highly recommend using a tube amplifier)
Different power amplifiers will affect the outcome of the final tone.You can also connect directly to a sound card and activate the speaker cab simulation for recording purposes
