The Kickback KB15 features a 500-watt, high-efficiency Class D amplifier and a 15-inch Hydrive Series speaker with a neodymium magnet. Hartke Hydrive’s unique hybrid cone speaker is constructed with an outer paper cone that produces deep and warm low frequencies, and an inner aluminum cone that produces mids that are cutting yet sweet. The specially designed cabinet can be used flat on the floor or in a “kickback” position for increased high-end clarity and directionality. The amplifier design, along with neodymium speaker magnets, combine tremendous power with a lightweight design.
The KB15’s 15″ HyDrive speaker features meticulously crafted paper/aluminum hybrid cone drivers. The hybrid construction delivers an exceptional blend of warmth and attack that can’t be matched by traditional all-paper woofers. The use of rare-earth neodymium magnets also helps maintain lightweight portability without sacrificing any of the legendary Hartke attack.
Designed to produce a responsive bass tone that’s both tight and warm, the KB15 provides users with comprehensive tone control. The Shape control and full 3-band EQ allow for quick tonal adjustments. When activated, the Shape knob selects the frequency range of a unique, fixed EQ curve, resulting in a greater variety of color and harmonics.
In addition to the upright position, the KB15 can be placed in a “kickback” position for superior directivity and increased high-end clarity on stage. With a headphone output for home practice, an XLR direct output for live performance, and a lightweight Class D amplifier, the KB15 is the answer for all bass players.
