Flight Ukulele DUC430 Dao Concert Ukulele with Bag

Figured dao wood and gold tuners – a uke that stands out. The Flight DUC430 Dao is a concert ukulele from Flight’s Supernatural series. Laminate dao wood – greyish brown with a green cast and dark streaks – gives a lively, warm tone that Flight compares to mahogany.

Why customers choose it

• Unique wood figure: every dao top has its own grain and streaks
• Premium touches: gold die-cast tuners, abalone fret markers, maple headstock inlay
• Bone nut and saddle: not plastic – Flight uses bone for a cleaner, fuller tone
• Arched back: the curved back adds projection and depth to a small body
• Padded gig bag included: plus a Flight start-up booklet with chords, strumming patterns and a song

FAQ

Concert or soprano – which should I pick?

A concert uke has a longer scale and more frets than a soprano, so there is more room for your fingers and a slightly bigger sound. It is a good first size for teens and adults.

How is a ukulele tuned?

Standard tuning is G-C-E-A. Use a clip-on tuner or a tuner app; new strings stretch and need re-tuning often for the first few days.
