  1. Delos Benedict

It sounds really good with the Fishman electronics that are on my guitar.. ItIs the best acoustic amp that I’ve ever heard? It’s not cheap, but the quality certainly there.

  2. Jim F

An excellent and high-quality solution for singer/songwriters and solo performers. The Bluetooth functionality is one of the features I bought this for but unfortunately the Bluetooth seems to be a bit flaky, I don’t know if I got a bad one or if this is normal for the unit. My iPhone will eventually connect via Bluetooth but I have to connect/disconnect several times to get it to work consistently. The Bluetooth issue is my reason for subtracting one star.EDIT: My Bluetooth issue was somewhat “operator error”. You need to press and hold the Pairing button on the Loudbox for 10 full seconds for proper pairing. So problem resolved and I changed my rating to 5 stars.

  3. Mike B

I like that this amp is compact but not afraid to roar when asked. My needs are for practicing at home with friends, and playing at small gatherings. The amp possesses the Fishman quality that I’m familiar with. I can dial it in To get clear, crisp sounds for my steel string acoustic as well as nylon classical guitars.

  4. Brian

I love this amp. It has been a wonderful addition to my gear and it’s perfect for gigs.

  5. bdrigg

Great sounds from even cheap acoustics. Infinitely better sounds than from an electric amp like my Fender Champion 2×12. Bluetooth feature works well but I rarely use it. XLR direct out helps lighten the load and is appreciated. Both channels sit well together especially with some light effects. Onboard reverb and chorus are very useable. I’ve added a delay pedal and love the punchy sounds I’m getting with everything on. Very solid construction. Zero issues in over a year. If you’re playing one gig – or more – buy it. Only one you’ll need.

  6. Amazon Customer

I love this acoustic amp, lots of features. Especially love the bluetooth.

  7. Chape

Beautiful sounds for your acoustic instrument.

  8. Dewey Fountain

    Great amp

  9. Sneaky Bob

I love the sound of the Fishman, used this model for almost five years till it quit working. Noticed its replacement is getting extremely hot, even inside. Have a few gigs here in Tucson outdoors, where it’s been 101 in the shade, and yes, this baby gets hot. Regardless of the temps, though, it still gets hot when played for any length of time at all. We’re talking one-, two-, and three-hour shows. Should have downloaded a manual before buying. A month past the return window.

  10. Edwin Strubbe

Obtuve el amplificador hace unos meses. Excelente!!!!

  11. skip

Perfectly designed for the working guitarist.

  12. Geetarz

Both channels – Acoustic Guitar as well as Vocals sound great straight in, at all volumes. You could really dial in your desired sound for the guitar. Reproduces the tones captured by the guitar’s pickup with unmatched accuracy. The reverb and chorus are both tasteful and not overwhelming. The guitar sounds great. Not dry and “quacky”.Very much recommended!

  13. Beverly Creamer

Waited for a good bit to write this, just to be sure. Love it! Great for practice and wonderfully recreates the natural tone of the guitar!

  14. taarheel

What more can I say. This little amp does the job. Doesn’t take up much space, and is lightweight. So many great things about this little thing. It isn’t cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

  15. Steve

    Rock n roll all night!

  16. sdcop62

Can’t wait to use this at the next gig!

  17. Amazon Customer

Plenty of power and great sound. I would buy again no question. Great little amp. Makes me want to play longer and more often. Even did one gig with it at an outside venue. Makes both of my Martins sould so sweet.

  18. visualcondition

Perfect! Except mic does not offer phantom power. Solved with neewer wireless phantom power box, battery powered. Wish I didn’t need it, but gets the job done. Great unit for Native American flute, perfect reverb.

  19. K Ryder

This amp has amazing sound. It’s also small, lightweight and has some really cool features. Having reverb, chorus, vocal input, XLR output and bluetooth makes it so versatile. And, 60 watts is plenty for small venues. For anything larger plug it into the PA with the XLR output. Having bluetooth is cool for including a backing track in your performance. It’s very well made, and I’m extremely pleased.

  20. Blokart 64

This little amp is truly amazing! Being the praise leader at my church, I run my acoustic guitar, drum machine and my vocals through it at the same time and it easily provides plenty of great sound to fill our 200 seat sanctuary!

  21. Bob

sounds good and plenty of power. I like the bluetooth. I’m able to play along with my Youtube play list on my phone.

  22. JOAO R.

    Ok

  23. Douglas P.

If you want a small acoustic amp that will blow the doors off this is it. I wish it had a jack to plug in head phones. Only thing that I don’t like. This is a very loud small amp that sounds great. I have to keep the volume turned down to keep from blasting my neighbors out.

  24. Gordy

Sounds thin & tinny. The eq isn’t very effective and the effects sound awful. The speaker is too small and it’s made in china. After all the hype, pretty disappointing I’ll return it.

  25. Jay Nova

Provides clean amplification. Very very very low amp hum; way better than my Peavy. I have actually used the blue tooth. I love this amp. I use it about three times a week for vocal and guitar amplification.

  26. Sopan Patra

If you are someone who plays at gigs or jams at home on a daily basis, this is the perfect amp as it lies at the sweet spot of cost vs quality. I particularly like the Bluetooth support which enables playing an instrument on top of a backing track.

  27. THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW

Surprised it doesn’t pact the punch fishermen is known for. also package was all beat up on delivery. they put a label on manufactures box. Should have been packaged better. hoping it doesn’t break down from miss handling.

  28. Danny

    Great build and quality

  29. Amazon Customer

I love this amp. It just sound good!

  30. Benjamin

Quality sounds đź‘Ś perfect for a gig or a performance at any type of gathering or event. THE BEST đź‘Ś FOR YOUR MONEY đź’°

  31. Il Diavolo

Very nice amp. It’s very small and light but punches well above its weight. It can put out a surprising amount of volume. It remains clear and crisp no matter how loud you crank it though. Highly recommended for anyone that needs an amp for small gigs or just to play at home or with friends.

  32. vivvian

    Great sound, very portable

  33. Daddy Bear

Love the amp. Small size light weight. Tons of sound and makes my guitar sound amazing with the reverb and chorus. Clumsy be happier.

  34. Richard Harris

Wonderful amp and exactly what I was looking for. It pairs nicely with my Takamine 6 string, nylon. Great value, great sound. You will not be disappointed.

  35. Gary L Collins

Its small in size, relatively light in weight and sounds great with my acoustic-electric Martin. Perfect for playing at home, or in a small to medium size room.

  36. The Professor

I really like this small amp. It’s very portable and has the bluetooth feature to allow me to play music and accompaniment tracks. The sound is very good, and the amp is a good value.

  37. Dale Wellman

I’ve only had it a couple months, but for a mini, it has plenty of power and the sound quality is perfect for my spare room.

  38. Wayne L. Potter

    Compact and light

  39. Richard Ryan

    Sounds great. Easy set up.

  40. Rick

This is an awesome amp. It sounds amazing for it’s size. Great for practice and gigging.

  41. Steve Chambers

Built extremely well, sounds great ! What more could you adk?

  42. Matthew McIntyre

The amp makes a loud horrible-sounding feedback/buzzing sound when the instrument is plugged in. No sounds from an instrument can be heard. Completely unusable:

  43. Rangerchaz

Great little amp with a surprising amount of power. The tolex covering isn’t very well glued on however

  44. TeamBullseye

I am new to acoustic amps but it sounds amazing.

  45. Andrew Clark

Rich sound in an easily portable amp. Great for small venues ie church.

  46. Haley Trebony

My first one I received in the mail was damaged and sounded muffled and as if it had gotten wet or something. The second one I received after returning my last one has the same issue. At this point, I just want my money back. Cool idea in theory.

  47. Amazon Customer

    Fishman make quality products.

  48. Peter Fellman

    Very nice

  49. Tim Roth

    great

  50. Construction

    Amazing for its size!

  51. George Mathew

I love this small Amp for my guitar… very convenient, portable

  52. David

    Can’t beat the value

  53. Head Hoon

This is exactly how this came inside an Amazon box. What a complete joke!

  54. Reviewer

This is an awesome amplifier! It is better than the fender amplifier I had before which did not have much in the vocal options. This amplifier is powerful! It has the output for the Mick and instrument. The instrument panel has gain, low, mid, high, and reverb, and chorus. The Mick option has gain, low, high, reverb. The master volume is extremely powerful. In a 2000 ft² house, even with doors closed, 1/4 of the master volume is enough to rock the house. Even with the gain below 1/4 for the instrument and 1/3 for the voice, and the master volume at less than 1/4 of its power, it can be loud. There is also a Bluetooth pairing. There is a phase button on the instrument panel but I do not know what this is for.On the back there is auxiliary input and mix DI output. You can use a interface box to modify the output to your computer. I have seen a similar model Fishman at a church I was invited to. The power switch and the power cable are on the back and come with it.There is far more capability of this wonderful amplifier than I will probably ever need. However, what I like is that I can adjust the instrument panel sounds and the vocal sounds right out of the amplifier box. Since I sing and play gospel, worship, folk, and a little old rock and roll, this amplifier covers more than all what I will need. The quality is excellent and it was highly recommended by the audio manager at Guitar center where I purchased mine. The thing is, Amazon sells it for the same price at the time I purchased mine. But I bought mine at the Guitar center because there’s so much more to the complications of music and recording that I needed to interface with people. For me it was a great advantage rather than buying online. Amazon offers asurion insurance and you can’t go wrong either way.I play an electric ukulele and it sounds awesome with the low g string and I can get amazing effects with this amplifier! Definitely worth the price for me!

  55. B. A. Kinkle

The older model I’ve got doesn’t have blue-tooth like these new ones, but I think they’re the same otherwise. And let me tell you, it’s 60 Watts of awesome in a tiny package! Easy to transport, easy to set up, great sound and more than plenty of volume for use in church, coffee houses and backyard-size gatherings. The perfect amp to fit my needs. All that and at a good price. What’s not to love??

  56. Paul

I’ve been playing electric acoustic guitars for a long time and have never “loved” any amplified sound I personally would get through any amp or PA system, they all had that terrible treble sound …I plugged my Yamaha cfs3 guitar into this little amp and was blown away, It sounded like an acoustic guitar! I actually enjoyed playing through it.Singing through this amp is also great. I don’t think there’s anything else on the market at this price that is as wonderful as this little amp.

  57. Henry Yuma

Goood sound quality. Portable and amazing! Im still trying to figure out how to connect my iphone to bluetooth though.

  58. DRC

I heard this amp at a show with a Martin guitar, and another show with a beautiful 12 string and it sounded fantastic. I bought one to use with my Martin Tenor guitar and I have to say it was just awful sounding. I had to turn the mids and highs almost off to get a warm sound. I think this amp may work best with large body guitars with a lot of low end, not any instrument that has problems with mids and highs as I have with my Tenor 4 string guitar (the body is about the same size as the small Martins and baby Taylors). The amp actually magnified the problems I was hoping to tame. I returned it.

  59. Juan K. Averhoff

Enjoy it.The sides are not good, but the amp is excellent to play acoustic guitar, to sing, it is light, there is other kind more expensive than this same amp but the sides are wooden. I like a lot this amp.

  60. Amazonian

The amp sounds great but the finish starts to crumble and the company doesn’t do anything about it. I will never buy another Fishman product because of their lack of support. 2 emails to customer service and 2 voicemails and no follow up.

  61. Pamstenson

The cover is not even close to road worthy who are you Kidding

  62. Mateo

First off – this is an excellent amp! It has amazing sound and the volume works for practice and small venues. I tried this at a store before ordering on Amazon at a better price. One thing you need to know is the differing electronics on different guitars provide different replication. This amp makes my Mexican Martin acoustic-electric sounds phenomenal and it’s ear candy for sure.A Seymour Duncan Woody pickup in a cheap Cedar body Takamine also sounds fantastic! However, my $1800 Takamine acoustic-electric sounds like a tin guitar through it. You can get the mids down, but the low ends just never have the punch that the Martin has. That doesn’t mean that all Taks or all Martins will be the same. I’m just saying that you should know that you may not get what you’re hoping for in any particular amp. My Tak sounds fantastic thru the clean channel on my EVH 5150 III, but just doesn’t work with the Fishman. This amp does have a decent solid-state reverb, but obviously a spring reverb is always better. The chorus is decent too and relatively full.If you are playing in anything larger than a small tavern or small church, go with the full size loudbox. Otherwise, this is a great practice/small venue amp that won’t disappoint you.

  63. Richard

No techy stuff, just experience talking. Long time musician, retired but still active here and there.Got this Fishman Loud Box Mini for fun and to use in some smaller venues. Haven’t even set the master to half way point and this thing is powerful. Plugged in a Taylor Big Baby acoustic electric and it blew me away. My SM58 Shure mic sounded great as well. It has a plug in for guitar (or keyboard), and separate plug in for mic. The part I like is it also has separate controls for each and some pretty good effects. Also bluetooth ready. Buy one . Today.

  64. jeff phillips

I love this acoustic amp, it sounds amazing in a small package. I have a sm58, woody pickup, and seagull guitar and it all mixes together well. The amp is very adjustable and honestly I have never had to turn it all the way up. Love the reverb, Love the chorus! Its just a great little amp!

  65. Cass

This was more expensive than I wanted to spend… but for the right product sometimes you have to extend your budget. I sing with a guitarist and we play 1-3 gigs/month. With this and a mic and a cable I can go anywhere and easily perform. It’s not too big or too heavy. Even in the bigger space of a hotel lobby it’s loud enough. I can’t say anything about outdoor spaces but so far it’s been perfect for a variety of indoor spaces. Recommended.

  66. RS

I’m really impressed with this little amp. It puts out a powerful, clear sound.Plus I can plug in my acoustic guitar and microphone at the same time.

  67. Kyle and Tricia

    Easy to use great sound

  68. Leo

    Great item; excellent deal.

  69. Bob

I Mike my dobro with it.

  70. AZ Gadget Guy

I have been using this amp for years. I play acoustic guitar and vocals. I have been playing some larger rooms and bars. I have been using my Yamaha PA with a monitor. No matter how I load it on my cartits 4 trips in and out minimum. I decided to line out the back of my Fishman to a Kustom monitor that has a 10″ speaker. IT SOUNDS AS GOOD AS MY LARGER PA. Alone it needed some help for the large room and the monitor just have it a huge kick. I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner. I cut down to TWO cart trips. The quality of sound for guitar and vocals is total professional. My PA system will be taking a long time rest. (You can find a Rubbermaid storage container at WalMart that the amp fits in nicely with all the wires plus you can set the amp on it for a stand)
