Amazing Quality, even better sound
This is my first proper Fender American made Stratocaster. I’ve always bought affordable guitars, and been happy, but always found myself making a modification or 2 to make them more comfortable to play or get the sound I wanted. This guitar is the first that I wouldn’t change anything, the finish, the neck, everything is just perfect out of the box. The pictures of the Lake Placid Blue don’t actually do it justice, this guitar will have you smitten not only with it looks, but it’s amazing sound.

Iconic American made guitar
It’s been my dream to buy an American Fender Stratocaster (and a Gibson Les Paul which I bought a few years ago) and the Performer is the lowest priced American made Fender Strat. I like Heavy Metal so I wanted the Humbucker bridge pickup which gives me the versatility to play with a thicker tone. I also wanted a maple neck because my other three guitars are all rosewood and wanted that warm funky Strat maple tone. I got everything I wanted and love my fender. This set up only comes in two colors, I.e. maple neck with HSS pickups, sea foam green and black but I’ve always wanted a classic look the the sea foam green is iconic.
