Purchased in December 2022. The microphone sounds great and has plenty of range and sensitivity adjustment.There are two knobs on the microphone. Top knob is labeled echo and the bottom knob (sitting above the headphone jack) is labeled volume.The bottom knob has nothing to do with the headphone jack (you adjust that level via your computer audio settings). However, it does control the input level of the microphone. So, if you want the microphone to be louder, adjust the lower knob.It took me a little while to figure that out (and I work with professional equipment all the time).STRONGLY suggest relabeling the knob to say input or sensitivity vs. volume.

CAD needs to tighten up their quality control in China factory. The resulting recording has a high positive offset in the audio waveform. This is my second purchase of this microphone. My first microphone performed as advertised with negligible offset. The second microphone sounds okay but the DC offset is horrible and requires remediation with my DAW to allow its release to my customers.

Based on other’s reviews, which I now agree with, there can’t be another microphone as good as this for the price. I am using it connected to my laptop to broadcast the voices of a condo board made up of 5 people for hybrid Zoom meetings. Without moving the mike, all 5 are picked up clearly. I highly recommend this if you are looking for an inexpensive solution to hybrid meetings.

I purchased the mic last spring on a whim while on sale. I tested it at home, and it sounded good. I did not use it until October, when I started a bi-weekly zoom call where it worked very well for 2 months.Suddenly it would start cutting out in the middle of the call, and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it working again. After two weeks of that, it stopped working entirely.I am not satisfied with the durability of this mic, and would not purchase another.

A pretty good mic
This is a pretty good mic. The cardioid pattern means it basically just picks up what’s in front of it and the frequency range is nice and wide. Very easy to setup – it was just ‘plug and play’ into an iMac, nothing to install – just select the ‘CAD mic’ in your app audio preferences. Only minus point is the tripod, which doesn’t have a height adjustment.

No lo he abierto porque fue para un regaló pero a la persona que se lo regalé le gustó y está contento con el micro.Principalmente es para usarlo para comunicarse en llamadas de voz y videojuegos y para ese uso la verdad que está bastante bien y se escucha genial. 👍🏻

Il n’est précisé nul part, mais il faut un tournevis pour le trépied qui permet de le changer de position. (J’ai cherché pendant une heure comment faire si ça peut vous faire gagner du temps)Sinon le micro est bon, bon rapport qualité / prix. Pour un vocal sur discord rien à redire, performant et on m’entend bien. Le petit trépied est super !J’enregistre sur Audacity et on entend un léger bruit de fond, qui peut être gênant suivant votre utilisation.Sinon globalement vu le petit prix c’est un très bon micro pour les débutants sur Audacity ou ceux qui veulent seulement l’utiliser en vocal.
