Fantastic sound quality – well worth the price point. I have a large head and still the headset is comfortable for long-term wear. If there’s any downsides it’s that the sound drivers don’t perform so well when wired to my phone and the microphone is not detachable. Treat this set well and it should last for a long time.

Well I started with this review with the shipping. It is a busy day as what I told for the delivery guy. The box was a little damage but it don’t affect anything. When I open the box for the first time I didn’t like that headsets and cable look dirty for not reason but I just didn’t care. They feel really confortable and it don’t bother me, build material feel really weak. Like cheap. But I don’t feel while using the headset, cable is long so be aware. Also when you connect the cable to the pc if you move the cable, the headset will loss sound, detachable mic for headphones. Also be sure that you connect 3.5mm correct and tight enough to the headset and pc or otherwise you will have problems with sounds. And for FPS feel great. I play rainbow six siege and i can hear all footsteps, all sounds are clear, not to loud but just right, music I have not tested but for movie they sound good for me. I also used a amc/ amp to increase the sound. If you are pc, I will recommend. You can find one for 25 dollars cheap. Otherwise will recommend if you have the money but it is a terrible price, it feel that is cheap for the price and if you look for value I will not recommend. Look something else. I guess what I can tell if you are not paying for quality, you paying for the sound. Which is disappointing but it is good headset for gaming but the quality is questionable. I will change with review if anything happen but for now headset are working fine.

As mentioned in the title, I have owned and loved my pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pros for over 10 years now. I was so excited to see Beyerdynamic is now making an open back headset that is very similar with a high quality mic attached.The first set I ordered, I hooked up to my PC and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get any audio input from the microphone. I tried it on my PC in the correct 3.5mm jack, tried changing all OS level settings, multiple applications, nothing worked. Just couldn’t get the mic to work at all.I made sure the mic toggle button on the headset was active and still nothing. I could see that the OS would detect a “noise” when switching the mic to on and off, a very brief input spike demonstrating some electrical switch was toggled and it was sending signal, but I could never get it to detect any other sound.So I sent it back for a replacement. Same thing with my second unit. Just dead mic. No input.I’ve tried it connected to my phone via 3.5mm joining cable to 3.5mm to USB-C. Nothing.I’ve tried it connected to my MacBook Pro via 3.5mm joining cable to 3.5mm jack. Nothing.I’ve tried it connected to my MacBook Pro via 3.5mm joining cable to USB-C. Nothing.I took it into work and tried it on my coworker’s PC and Linux machine, connected via 3.5mm joining cable to 3.5mm. Nothing.I really want to love this headset as it has everything I want. Except the mic hasn’t worked on the two units I’ve received. Maybe it’s the first generation of production on it, as Amazon indicates it went on sale for the first time on August 23, 2024 and here I am on September 24, 2024 (almost exactly a month later).But I’m terrified of getting a working unit only for it to fail later on due to poor manufacturing or QC. I have no idea what’s going wrong or if I’m just the most unlucky consumer of this product, but so far I’m 0 for 2 in terms of units with working microphones.Hopefully others get a chance to enjoy this product and find it to their liking, but I can’t roll the dice anymore on getting a working unit and having it fail later on for whatever reason is causing my current units to fail.

IF YOUR MIC DOES NOT WORK, the cable has a switch in the middle to enable/disable the microphoone. It comes disabled by default (it shows red when disabled). I had no problems after doing this. Audio quality is excellent.

I did some research on the microphone issue for the 330s…… Make sure your cable is SECURELY seated in the headphones. Seems many people are experiencing mic issues until they go back and make sure the cable is all the way seated. Try it, hope this helps.

The reason for 3 stars, my mic does not work. It doesn’t work with supplied adapter, nor does it work directly connected. Aside from that, this is a phenomenal headset. It is so comfortable! The velour muffs, and leather headband just make it feel premium outside of the actually unit that feels all metal, but doesn’t weigh much. Matter of fact I can wear these for hours without any problemThe earcups do not twist, so no DJ style, rest on your shoulders when listening to someone in your vicinity talking.The sound quality is outstanding. I tested music; rock, EDM, POP; movies (Constantine, Ford vs Ferrari); Games: (Elden Rings, COD, Hogwarts, Borderlands). They do not fatigue my ears. Dialogues are so clear I can hear the difference in recording, from the use of alternate equipment or possibly different location, it’s so cool.Explosions, footsteps, and sound effects to key you to certain clues (Hogwarts) is accurate. Don’t think it’s going to help with COD, COD has it’s own audio issues.The headphones do not have any fancy technology. Truthfully works great without it on console, and on PC you can use either Steel Series Sonar, or Razers Beta audio lab to tune the eq to your liking, but I don’t think you’ll want to.I hope no one else has these problems at this price point. The headphones are fantastic, but they should be trouble free.

Provengo da diverse cuffie da gaming, ho usato le HyperX Cloud II per quasi 6 anni e le Cloud III per 6 mesi, queste cuffie sono impeccabili sia dal punto di vista del lato gaming (l’audio è stra preciso e ti fa capire esattamente da dove proviene un determinato suono come ad esempio i passi negli FPS), che per la musica, cosa che io adoro. I padiglioni di velluto sono indescrivibili, è come essere avvolti da una nuvola che non ti fa sudare nè ti fa sentire il peso delle cuffie, cosa che invece succedeva molto spesso con i padiglioni delle Cloud II e Cloud III che sono fatti in similpelle. Il microfono è fantastico, possiedo un Blue Yeti e la qualità di questo microfono è molto paragonabile a quella di un microfono a condensatore per streaming, ha una buona base e ti fa sentire la voce abbastanza profonda e professionale, con un tono caldo e piacevole. 10/10 vale tutti i soldi spesi. La qualità si paga, però qui otterrete esattamente ciò per cui avrete pagato.
