“Beyerdynamic Makes Audible Tanks.” Yes they last forever, but not the cushions and the earpads, they have a definite lifespan to survive. That happens to almost every headphone out there.The sound signature is very good, the lows mids and highs are pretty much balanced. And most importantly the highs which Beyerdynamic lacked considerably in their majority of models, have been properly elevated in pro X. Though they sound a little bit like metallic resonating highs, but that is very negligible and hard to notice. The bass is considerable and has enough depth to feel the rumble below 40 hz. The Frequency range in Pro X is 5 hz to 40 khz which is not useless, but it does help in not being restrictive and gives the sound an extra uncompromising edge. And plenty of room for all the frequencies to work around.The material quality is rugged, design and wearability is very very comfortable, the ear pads are extremely soft and does not cause ear fatigue even for hours of wearing. The detachable cable is the best and USP for me. Best for Music production as well. Overall the top notch Headphones from Beyerdynamic if available in stock….For India – The sad part is that the ‘Beyerdynamic India’ is not co-operative and has no much to offer in terms of replacement parts. Also they deny having parts for the older models for eg. i contacted them for the headband for Custom one pro. Which has the similar headband to DT 700 pro. But they did’t reply with positive answer, saying that the model is obsolete. But that was none of their concern, as i was just asking them to send the DT 700 pro headband, rest is my own responsibility. But they didn’t respond ever after that. I did’t ask them “whether the Custom one pro are obsolete or not”. I asked them for the headband for DT 700 pro thats it, but they decided to give oversmart reply. Anyway. You’ll have to rely on aftermarket parts.

Generally I Don’t show up for review, very often, but I thaught I should let everyone know how perfect this headphone is. I am an Audiophile and I do lot of research on sound. I already have many headphone like sony, philips, audio technica and all those common brand. I recently developed two DAC headphone amplifier for high end sound. Then I thought I should buy this legendary headphone to test the actual output of my handmade headphone amplifier. I received it today and I plugged it to my amp.Boy oh boy, what a quality of the sound. I never heard the breath of the singer when she is taking pause. The drums, OH my god those were tremendous accurate reproduction. The mid is perfect and soothing, highs are crisp, the sub bus is good ( if not great) . This headphones are surely not for those bass lover, but if you really want to listen to the music of another level, then surely this is the right choice. Waiting for the burn in period, and eagerly want to know what it has more to offer.

I have used DT 770 pro 32ohm and have just received the DT 700 PRO X and i must say all the cons of 770 have been rectified. No sibliance, no more of that infamous beyer peak. Pretty much of an neutral audiophile grade headphone.Bass is tight and does not bleed into mids.Mids are well balanced and treble is extended but not overly bright. Ear pad cushion is very comfortable and could wear them all day without any discomfort. Overall beyerdynamics DT 700 PRO X is a definite upgrade over DT 770 PRO.

bought these for ₹28k and saw that the price dropped to ₹19k after a while. (now at 40k apparently?)when i first recieved them, i loved the built quality but using them felt like a disappointment because they didn’t feel too comfy. apparently the headband is wayyyyy too tight out of the box, to the point that you literally can’t wear them for 10mins without your head hurting. It’s a little better now after some use though!sound is amazing as expected, if you get these for anything below ₹24k, it’s a good deal!

私は、モニターヘッドホンをリスニング用として使用して音楽を楽しむのが大好きでして、ベイヤーダイナミックDT700ProXを実際購入してみて、めっちゃ良かった。外国YouTube動画を字幕で観ていて、レビュアー達が、「正しい」とか「正しい音」と、こぞって表現していたので、どんなものかと思い購入しました。ふわふわのPadも、イイ！何が良いかって、レザーPadの様な変な反射音がない事。音分離が際立ちます。毛布みたいな、ふわふわなPadなので耳にも優しい。ベイヤーダイナミックDT700ProX実際の音の印象は、まず、音が綺麗。でヴォーカルも、歯切れ良く聞こえますし、伴奏がヴォーカルのほんのわずか前側で鳴って、曲全体的にリスニング用途だと、バランス良く聞こえ最高です。特に素晴らしいのは、ドラムとベースの音が誇張してなくて、ドラムやベースらしい、しっかりとした音がします。ベイヤーダイナミックが現在の音楽に合わせ開発したモニターヘッドホンだけあって、楽器の音数が多彩なAdoさんの楽曲とかは、ベイヤーダイナミックDT700ProXは、得意みたいですね。モニターでも、リスニングでも楽しめるヘッドホンだと思います。

Reconnu comme l’un des meilleurs du marché, et à raison. A pris la suite d’un vénérable AKG 240 Monitor de … 1996 arrivé au bout de ses limites (hors transducteurs, toujours OK après 29 ans de service). Superbe casque fermé, réponse des basses magnifiques mais sans excès, confort parfait, utilisé en homestudio ou à la basse, un parfait moniteur de studio sans trou ni exagération flatteuse des basses ou des aigus. Il n’est pas donné mais enterre largement la concurrence même parfois plus chère. Achat très fortement recommandé.

I’ll preface by saying I am not a professional music producer I don’t make music I bought these headphones purely for my enjoyment.Comfort: These are comfy headphones, I own a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 which are pretty much the comfiest headphones out there so I knew they would be a step down, but I was surprised. Ear cups are very soft and comfy, the cups fit over my ears just fine and I have quite big ears. There is a little bit of clamping pressure in front of my ears which isn’t that bad but I think would become noticeable after a few hours usage, the headphones are very light so doesn’t hurt the top of my head – 4.5/5Build Quality: They are very well built, love the easily replaceable parts, no issues with creaking or flexing. Also love that the audio cable has a 1.5 inch and 3.5mm jack in one – 5/5Sound Quality: This probably goes without saying, but you really have to be in a quiet setting to appreciate these headphones. Coming from consumer headphones to studio headphones I realise why they are a niche product. They are very flat – there are no defining characteristics, highs are sparkly, lows are deep and warm (when they need to be) and mids ever so slightly less present but it is hard to notice. To the average person they might not be able to fully appreciate how good the sound is because they are so flat. Isolation is good, but for £200 you’re not getting the top of the line, it is however much better than the Sonys. Interesting to adjust the EQ on songs – whatever sound you’re looking for can be produced e.g. if I raise the bass it makes no noticeable difference to mids and highs (I don’t have any equipment to measure this but its not noticeable to the untrained ear anyway). I have noticed that when there are lots of instrumentals playing loudly and singing over the top the sound starts to crumble away which I’m sure is because I don’t have an amplifier – they are only 48 ohms but to get their full potential I would recommend getting an amp.Conclusion – Best £200 I ever spent on a pair of headphones, the value is absolutely insane – I was hoping for an enjoyable listening experience and thats definitely what I got. Will be buying an amp to get 100% potential but definitely worth the money.
