Like the ability to record direct into laptop while blocking ambient noise out. Don’t have to worry about speaking into a mic once the headset is set up right. Only issue… foam mic cover always falls off … a matter of time before I lose it … suspect it will be a pain to find a new foam cover to replace it

Great sound! Cable noise an issue.
Great sound, bass is not so distorted like many other headphones, the sound is clear, and it’s built very well, meaning I can keep it in my backpack when I need to. Unfortunately, the cable for these headphones are so thick and ruggedized that if you move around in the wrong way and if the cable impacts anything, you’re going to get cable noise. The microphone is clear, though if using an XLR to 1/8 adapter, you will need a 30db boost in windows. The low impedance means its usable without an amp, even on a 3DS, though an amp does improve the sound quality (though if you’re using a PC, get a DAC amp solution or a sound card). You do need a separate $60 cable in addition to a 1/4 to 1/8 and an XLR to 1/4 adapter if you plan to use it with anything other than some powerful sound card, and if you are paying full price for everything, it’s debatable whether its worth it (considering so many other awesome headphones on the market), but at 75% off, this is a kick ass set of headphones. I was probably the clearest sounding person on CS:GO due to the sheer clarity of the mic (though professional recorders may want to invest in an XLR port due to slight noise from boosting the quiet mic so much).

    Impossible to remove plosives

Cable Is NOT Included and Costs $70 – $120
The description states (unless they’ve changed it by now) that it has a “retractable cord”. It does not. The cable must be ordered separately and is quite expensive ($70 – $120 depending on where you look). Furthermore, the only way to get the cable is by ordering it from the manufacturer, which takes over 1 month if you’re in the US.
