other than the max volume issue there great crispy clear loud sound mine lasted 3 years till my little bros friend blow my tweeters by raising the volume to full blast the orange light around the ring will blink a few times then it shuts donw unplug the power soruce and reconnect it will work but just the bass witch is the big bottom speaker the small speaker on top is the tweeter those will not work unless you know how to chance them

When the unit works, it sounds good. From a USB signal source, there is just about no background noise, clear & strong sound.Minor problem: at very low volume level, the secondary speaker sometimes cuts out. But who listens at a very low volume?Major problem: after six months, the unit refuses to power up (throbbing orange light around volume knob); warranty repairs taking 2 months (!) so far.Update, speaker repair took four months. Unit worked for six months. Suddenly, exact same failure mode. I’ll try warranty service again, but geez.

These were a great pair of speakers for about 15 months. When they suddenly stopped working I found out the hard way that the “Behringer 3 Year Limited Warranty” Is actually a 1-year warranty that if you happen to find the URL in the manual and follow it to the web site and read a few pages you find out that it is only extended to 3 years if you register within 90 days of purchase. Their customer service is inflexible and rude. If you choose to purchase these pretty but poorly made speakers please do yourself a favor and register them. I now have some rather expensive paperweights.
