The Avantone Pro AV10-MXO offers several improvements over the NS-10M’s original crossover. First of all, its rear panel was upgraded from plastic to aluminum, giving it better rigidity. Its rear terminal plate employs a higher-grade binding post to ensure the best signal possible. It uses the same value capacitors as the original circuit; albeit with a higher grade of material and rating. That said, it delivers the same sound as the original — its inductors are an exact match for the original in DC resistance, winding dimensions, and value.
