The Austrian Audio OC-S10 Studio Set combines a professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone with carefully selected accessories for the highest demands in everyday studio work. Developed for the precise recording of lead vocals and solo instruments, the microphone impresses with its flexible adaptability to a wide range of recording situations. Five selectable polar patterns – omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, and figure-of-eight – ensure targeted control of the recording range. This is supported by three switchable low-cut filters at 40 Hz, 80 Hz and 160 Hz, which effectively minimize interfering low-frequency components, as well as switchable -10dB and -20dB pads for distortion-free handling of high sound pressure levels of up to 157 dB SPL.

The OC-S10 is a reference large-diaphragm condenser microphone, meticulously designed for recording lead vocals and solo instruments with unparalleled precision. The included shock mount features a ball-joint connection for precise and delicate positioning, making setup effortless. Additionally, the magnetically attached metal mesh filter (not shown) effectively reduces unwanted plosive sounds while preserving the full richness and detail of the vocal spectrum.

The supplied pop filter can be magnetically fixed to the shock mount in the optimal distance to the OC-S10. By using a frameless metal foam, a strong attenuation of pop and wind noise can be maintained with almost no impact on the frequency response.
Usual pop filter designs may introduce harsh comb filters through reflections. The refraction and dissipation in our porous metal material prevents plosives from reaching the OC-S10 without creating disturbing high frequency artifacts.
