Fits my desk well at a good price point. Not sticky. Easy to install.

This is an excellent headphone hanger and I really like it. It’s well made and fit perfectly onto my desk and keeps my headphones within easy reach. Clamping force is excellent and with my headphone sitting on the hanger, it feels very secure and keeps my headphones OFF the floor. This is exactly what I was looking for. What I did NOT want is one of those supports (somewhat shaped like a head) that sits ON your desk and takes up valuable desk space. No think you! I wanted something to either attach to the edge of my desk or mount underneath it (either would be fine) and make it easy to reach my headphones. This is exactly what I wanted. If you need something like this, I can highly recommend the Audio Technica Headphone Hanger. It mounts easily, is very secure and the quality seems very good.

Would have been a 5 stars if it could have cheaper

I really wanted to like this thing. It doesn’t necessarily do anything wrong, it’s just not terribly impressive for the cost. Is it worth what it’s being listed for? Not at all – but it’s the price you pay for a import piece to show your brand loyalty. At half the cost, I’d consider it a good value – the question is whether you think doubling that cost is worth the Audio Technica logo. I personally like Audio Technica and I’m willing to pay to match it with my headphones and it does what it needs to do, it’s not a piece that over-promises so it deserves at least three stars. Value wise, not so much. It’s a piece of plastic, the anchoring mechanism clamps onto the desk poorly, at best it’s a snug hold. My desk is 1.25″ and I’m on the third hole, I have to turn the clamping knob until it contacts with the desk – but because it’s all plastic, it just ends up flexing the plastic arm and you end up overturning the plastic knob, bending the plastic but never quite getting a solid grip. Yeah, it swivels out of the way but the point where it swivels is just plastic rubbing against plastic and it just feels cheap. I like the fact that there is a lip to the hanger that keeps your headphones held in (which the Sennheiser lacks) and you could stack more than one pair of headphones if you had to. Apart from that, it’s a piece of plastic that holds your headphones that you should get for two reasons:1. You can’t stand having things on your clean zen-like desk and it absolutely has to hang off your desk2. It has to have Audio Technica logos galore that match your headphones and you’re willing to pay a premium for itIf you can’t say yes to both, then you’ll likely be disappointed.

I was tired of setting my M50x headphones on my desk at work. So I bought this and attached it to my desk. Attaching it was extremely easy and it grips very well. There is no sliding or anything like that.I love the cushioned support the headphones and love that the support arm swivels. This makes it convenient to not only move the arm out of the way while I’m not using it, but also so I can move my headphones under my desk when I take them off for lunch or whatever and not worry about someone knocking them off and breaking them.Great quality product and love how well it works.

I use this for my Oculus Rift and it’s perfect: I hang the HMD from the rear triangle, and it’s nice to swivel it under the desk to keep it slightly out of the way. Probably works well for Vive too. I built my PC small so I can transport it and the Rift to friends’ houses, and the hanger’s clamp (vs. glue) makes it easy to bring along.I understand the critical reviews– it’s not very well styled– but it’s plastic and it works, and it’s not supposed to support more weight than a pair of headphones anyway. I think the designers made good compomises and don’t think it looks bad at all.

Put this on a desk against the wall to prevent it from slipping off the tension on the clap screw is non existent definitely won’t be recommending this to anyone. Disappointed with this one. Accents other audio technica gear well though.

Great for hanging any of my headsets. Buyers, be mindful. The important part of the item is the clamp and rotating elbow. Any large/heavy headset or headphone puts some stress on both the clamp and elbow. Im not saying that this is a bad product, Its an awesome design, and works very well. Im simply pointing out the possible weak points of the product to be mindful of.I have a Turtle Beach x12, Turtle Beach XO Seven Pro, and Monoprice DJ Style Studio headphones and they are all lightweight or fairly lightweight and work very well with this headphone hanger. For the price, its very eye pleasing, and super functional. Just don’t “overuse” it.
