The Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II Pro Tools Audio Interface with Special Edition 32×32 Analog I/O, 16×16 Digital I/O, and Dante is an audio interface designed to deliver high-performance A/D and D/A conversion at up to 192 kHz for mixing and mastering engineers using Pro Tools HD systems in personal, project, and commercial studios. The two included 16×16 SE I/O cards feature stunning dynamic range with low distortion and noise for mastering-grade sonic quality.

Its analog I/O includes 32 inputs and outputs on DB-25 connectors. Additional RCA S/PDIF connections allow for up to 16 channels of digital inputs and outputs, while BNC connections handle word-clock and loop-sync functions. The chassis utilizes Mini-DigiLink and ethernet-based Dante connectivity for high-speed data transfer rates and compatibility with your Pro Tools HD hardware. Its front panel presents a TFT touchscreen display, multi-function control knob, and convenient 1/4″ stereo headphone output.

Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O MkII Pro Tools HD Chassis (No I/O Modules)

The Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II Pro Tools Chassis is an audio interface chassis designed to provide direct connectivity to Pro Tools HD systems for recording and mixing engineers in broadcast, post-production, studio, and live stage applications. It features a Mini-DigiLink port in the pre-installed HD option card, BNC loop sync I/O, and BNC word clock I/O. A stereo 1/4″ headphone jack enables quick and effective monitoring with a variety of headphone impedances.

Emulating an Avid HD I/O interface, it ensures seamless integration and sample-accurate delay compensation while delivering ultra-low latency for proper timing in signal conversion. Configure and control the chassis via the color touchscreen display and large rotary control on the front panel. Install multiple I/O cards (available separately) for up to thirty-two channels of analog inputs and outputs.

The Symphony I/O MkII is made in the USA and ships with a power cable.

Apogee Electronics 16×16 SE Module Analog Input/Output Module for Symphony I/O Mk II

Audio professionals looking for the very best converters will appreciate the updated Apogee Electronics 16×16 SE Module, a sixteen-channel analog input and sixteen-channel analog output module for the Symphony I/O Mk II. The module occupies one of the two slots available on the chassis. Additionally, two-channel coaxial S/PDIF input and output is also provided. The A/D circuit has been refined to offer a streamlined circuit design, resulting in the most transparent signal path to the A/D stage possible.

The D/A section has been optimized with a more powerful and robust output driver that is capable of driving virtually any input without a decrease in performance, regardless of the load presented by the connected gear. The analog inputs and outputs are offered on DB-25 connectors and require optional breakout cables, available in various configurations to suit individual requirements.
