Seven-Sensor Snare Drum

The 12×5″ snare drum sports eight adjustable lugs, a birch wood shell, and dual-ply mesh drum heads with a responsive feel. Multi-sensor technology avoids hotspots and provides a high-resolution sound. The snare drum supports very tight head tension tuning as well for bouncy and expressive playing.

Independent Side-Rim

The side-rim features a dedicated sensor for true-to-life rim shots and strikes. No switch operation is required and the elegant arc design is both attractive and easy to play on.

16" Kick: More Than the Size

The EFNOTE 5 sports a large, highly realistic 16×12″ kick drum with eight lugs and a birch wood shell. The 2-ply mesh drum head provides accurate response from hits and is comfortable and stable during long hours of play. As with the rest of the kit, multiple sensors are built in for reliable detection of both single and double kick beaters.

Multi-Sensor Toms

The large 10×7″ rack toms and 12×12″, 8-lug floor tom provide large, expressive playing surfaces. Birch wood shells, dual-ply heads, and multi-sensor layouts deliver high-resolution sound and eliminate hot spots. Low head tension tuning is available.

High-End Hi-Hat Cymbals

14″ top and bottom hi-hat cymbals sport the world’s first multi-optical sensor to capture cymbal motions in 3D. Tru-Motion technology delivers a leap in expressive playing potential, and the cymbals possess a 360° free-swinging cymbal design.

18" Full Ride Cymbal

The 18″ ride cymbal is large and responsive, with a 3-zone (bow/edge/cup) layout and a 360° multi-sensor detection system that supports choke. The cymbal is free-swinging and sports a realistically thin edge.

3-Zone Crash Cymbal

The 16″ crash is 3-zone and features the same 360°, free-swinging, multi-sensor design as the ride. A similarly thin edge provides a responsive playing quality.

Splash Cymbal

Rare for an electronic drum kit, the EFNOTE 5 features an 8″ splash cymbal with dual-zones and an ultra-thin, lightweight design. Like the other cymbals, it sports a 360° free-swinging design with a responsive thin edge. Use this cymbal to add a special effect to and accent to your playing.

The ultrasmall form factor of the EFD-5 sound module provides convenient placement without compromising on features. The metal chassis with aluminum finish is durable and the unit sports an intuitive touchscreen interface for easy access.

High-quality DAC and audio output circuitry ensure top notch sound, and the sound module also features a powerful headphone amplifier that delivers 320mW per channel at 32 ohms.
