Elixir Acoustic Guitar String 80-20 Bronze With Nanoweb Coating 11-52 Custom Light 11027

Keep your acoustic guitar sounding fresh for much longer. Elixir Acoustic Guitar String 80-20 Bronze With Nanoweb Coating 11-52 Custom Light 11027 is a 80/20 Bronze with NANOWEB coating set from Elixir, in Custom Light gauge (.011–.052). The coating protects the strings from sweat, dirt and humidity, so the tone lasts far longer than plain uncoated strings.

Why customers choose it

• Lasts much longer: the coating protects the whole string – also the gaps between the windings where dirt, sweat and gunk build up and kill your tone.
• Bright, lively sound: 80/20 bronze wrap wire (80% copper, 20% zinc) gives a bright tone with a vibrant presence.
• Smooth, quiet feel: the featherweight NANOWEB coating makes playing easier and reduces finger squeak – useful when you record.
• Anti-Rust plain strings: the plain steel strings have Anti-Rust Plating, so the entire set keeps its tone.
• Made for hard conditions: protects against corrosion and rust, sweaty hands and high humidity – gig after gig, session after session.

Who it is for

Steel-string acoustic guitar players – beginners, students, worship and church musicians, home recording and live players. The lighter gauge is easier to press down, so it suits beginners and players with smaller hands. The coating is made to resist high humidity and sweaty hands.

Good to know

• One set of 6 strings for a 6-string steel-string acoustic guitar. Not for nylon-string (classical) guitars.
• Changing to a different gauge than your guitar had before may need a small setup (neck relief, action) for the best feel.
• The maker notes that packaging may vary.

What is the difference between NANOWEB, POLYWEB and OPTIWEB?
