I Like It!
I originally bought this for my son to use with his acoustic gigs last year for Christmas to compact his gig bag, he’s a singer & guitar player. I had purchased this kit a few months before Christmas so I could “test” it for him at a high school reunion I was working, as my old kit had been acting up on me, to the point I had to carry a mic cable with me for a back up. The NUX B-3 Plus worked flawlessly for me & the pairing up was as simple as turning it on. No searching for the right frequency, it was automatic. Now, I don’t sing/perform anymore, I just used it to MC, make announcements, etc., so I can’t really make a judgement on how long the charge lasts, though it does go into sleep mode if you don’t use it for 5 minutes, but just press the button transmitter & it immediately connects back to the receiver. My son has never mentioned it not lasting through one of his gigs. I just borrowed it from him again, this past weekend to do my own H.S reunion & I thought it worked awesome. The sound was crisp & clear, I used it off & on for 5 hours & it still showed it was fully charged. The only negative I found is the transmitter is wider than the mic base, so if you’re taking off & on the mic stand, you need to remove the transmitter from the mic. Overall, I give this kit two thumbs up. I’ve been using wireless kits similar this for a couple of decades & other than the professional brands that have the transmitters built into the mic body, this is one of the best I’ve ever used. Good luck

For live performance
I am a singer/guitarist and do a weekly single act at a winery outdoors in Washington state, as well as many other performances throughout our region with my duo or band. I am very particular about my sound quality, but I wanted to try wireless to make my single act more simple, clean, and smaller. I was worried that going wireless would hinder my sound quality. In my single act, I play an Ovation Adamas with OP pro pre-amp and use a Senheiser microphone all plugged into an AER acoustic amp. Now after playing a few gigs with the Nux B-3 I can state that it has worked satisfactorily and I’m so far very happy with it. Yes, the vocal sound is different than with an xlr cable, but I could make adjustments to dial it in nicely and I enjoy not having the cables. My gigs are only two hours and there’s been no problem with batteries lasting that long but I haven’t tested total run time, so not sure about that. Also, the transmitter and receiver are only a few feet apart and I haven’t tested the distance beyond thirty feet, but all was well with that. Where I perform, there is WIFI and lots of people on phones, yet I have had NO interference from electronics. All in all, so far, I’m very happy with the B-3. At the time of this writing it has only been used for about seven hours. If it breaks or there’s any significant change, I’ll update.

Overtime they have become problematic
We use a pair of these every week at a folk music sing around. One of the mics has become pretty unstable, turning itself on and off. The channel lights are consistent but the microphone isn’t.One of the mic pickups battery has failed to hold a charge for 3 hours of use

Easy and Reliable
I bought this originally to use at a friend’s wedding where I got roped into doing sound. I’m not qualified as a sound guy, but with some advice I got great results. I used the NUX B-3 Plus on a single SM58 on a stationary stand in front of the officiant with the receiver plugged into the back of a powered speaker about 50′ away at the back of the audience. I hardwired to a second speaker in the back and around to a small powered monitor at the front facing the officiant. Worked great, huge compliments. Most importantly, no dropouts from the B-3, tons of battery life even after a long ceremony, excellent fidelity, no issues whatsoever. I was worried that the receiver being positioned in the back of the speaker with the speaker itself between transmitter 50′ away and receiver would be a problem. Nope, worked great. I did tape over the LED on the transmitter (it’s a bright 360 degree band) so it wouldn’t show up in photos. Since then I’ve used the B-3 several times for gigs (I play harmonica and do some back up vocals) and it was flawless every time.
