Deliver pristine, studio-grade sound with the Motu M4 4-In 4-Out USB Audio Interface, engineered to meet the demands of professional musicians, producers, and content creators requiring uncompromising audio fidelity and flexible connectivity.
With high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz analog-to-digital conversion, the M4 captures every nuance of your performance, maintaining exceptional clarity and dynamic range. Its two combo XLR-1/4″ TRS inputs accommodate microphones, line-level devices, or Hi-Z instruments like guitars, each equipped with dedicated preamp gain controls and individual 48 V phantom power for condenser mics. This flexibility allows precise recording setups without additional hardware.
The interface supports four simultaneous inputs and outputs, including two balanced 1/4″ line inputs and four balanced DC-coupled 1/4″ TRS outputs (monitor and line), alongside dual RCA stereo outputs for versatile routing options. This extensive I/O configuration enables complex studio workflows, from multi-mic recording to connecting external processors or multiple monitor systems.
Connectivity leverages USB 2.0 via a USB-C port with bus power, eliminating the need for external power supplies and enhancing portability. Compatible with macOS 10.11 or later, Windows 7 SP1 or later (with drivers), and iOS 9 or later (with adapters), the M4 integrates effortlessly into diverse production environments. Its ultra-low round-trip latency of 2.5 ms at 96 kHz with a 32-sample buffer ensures tight, responsive monitoring critical for live tracking.
The M4’s full-color LCD provides precise level metering across all inputs and outputs, offering immediate visual feedback to optimize recording levels and prevent clipping. Hardware direct monitoring with mono or stereo options, plus an adjustable Monitor Mix knob, allows seamless balancing of live inputs and computer playback without latency.
Additional features include MIDI In/Out ports for integrating keyboards and controllers, a dedicated headphone output with independent volume control driven by ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology, and a rugged metal chassis measuring 1.75″ x 8.25″ x 4.25″ with a Kensington security slot, ensuring durability and secure desktop placement.
Bundled software packages—MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live 10 Lite—along with over 100 virtual instruments and 6 GB of loops and samples, provide immediate creative tools to start recording and producing without delay. The driver’s loopback functionality simplifies live streaming and podcasting by routing computer audio back into your DAW for seamless mixing with live inputs.
Priced at ₹29,200, the Motu M4 offers a comprehensive, professional audio interface solution that combines superior sound quality, versatile connections, and user-friendly features in a compact, bus-powered design. It empowers your creative workflow with reliability and precision, making it an essential centerpiece for any modern audio production setup.
