Turn your interface into an 8-channel 500 series studio – one rack, one ADAT cable. The Cranborne Audio 500ADAT is an ADAT expander and 8-slot 500 series chassis. It converts 8 channels of high-quality analogue I/O to ADAT for your existing interface, and adds an analogue summing mixer, a zero-latency artist mixer, two headphone amps and C.A.S.T. connectivity.
Why customers choose it
Who it is for
Studios that already own an interface with ADAT and want 8 more channels with 500 series preamps, EQs and compressors, plus analogue summing and headphone mixes for tracking.

Good to know
- Your interface needs an ADAT optical input and output to use the 500ADAT as an expander.
- 500 series modules are sold separately – Cranborne Camden 500, Carnaby 500 and Brick Lane 500 are all listed by us.
- Each 500ADAT is tested by Cranborne’s engineers in the UK.
FAQ
Do I need USB?
No. The 500ADAT connects to your interface over ADAT. If you want a USB interface built in, see the 500R8.
Can I use it without modules?
Yes. Per-slot bypass switches let it work as an 8-channel line-level expander with empty slots.
