The Fluid Audio DS5 desktop monitor stand is designed for use with 4” and 6” studio monitors. They elevate your monitors to one of two heights: 2.5” and 5”. Using custom formulated rubberized silicone feet, the stands provide critical acoustic isolation. Tilt can also be set to one of 3 angles: Flat, 3, and/or 6 degrees of tilt.
Elevating your monitors closer to ear-level means you get better on-axis response. High frequencies coming from tweeters are more directional (or beam-like), so getting them up and closer to ear level means you hear a more full-frequency response.
Each DS5 stand features custom-formulated, 40 durometer rubber feet on both the top and bottom — part of Fluid Audio’s proprietary Vibreaker™ isolation system. These rubber pads absorb vibrations and decouple your monitors from the desk surface, minimizing unwanted resonance and enhancing sonic accuracy.
Built from the same MDF wood used in professional monitor enclosures, the DS5 offers solid, damped construction that resists resonance. The internal posts are made from polypropylene, avoiding the ringing often associated with ABS plastic. The result is a cleaner, more focused midrange and truer audio reproduction.
With a clean black finish and compact footprint, the DS5 stands complement any studio aesthetic — from bedroom setups to professional control rooms. Their modular design makes them easy to install, adjust, and reposition as your setup evolves.
