The LTD Alexi-200 has allowed hundreds and hundreds of guitar players to affordably pay tribute to the look, sound, and furious feel of iconic guitarist Alexi Laiho. It’s an offset V-shaped guitar with bolt-on construction. It pairs a comfortable mahogany body with a fast and smooth thin U-shaped maple neck, with a roasted Jatoba fingerboard that features 24 extra-jumbo frets and sawtooth triangle inlays. The Alexi-200’s sound is powered by a single ESP Designed LH-301B passive pickup. Other components include a Floyd Rose Special bridge and LTD tuners. Available in Black finish.
The ESP LTD Signature Alexi-200 was designed in collaboration with — and now sadly in tribute to — Alexi Laiho, the visionary frontman for the melodic death metal bands Children of Bodom and Bodom After Midnight. Laiho, who passed away in December 2020, was known as a dedicated, creative visionary who strove to take death metal into new territories with ferocity and feeling. The Alexi-200 features the design and appointments that will let you channel some of that same inspiring energy. Featuring an all-mahogany body finished in a captivating black finish, the Alexi-200 is resonant and delivers great sustain. The maple neck with its roasted jatoba fingerboard offers incredible feel and playability — ideal for the lightning-fast, boldly melodic leads Alexi was known for. To tap into the gritty, articulate tone you long for, the Alexi-200 features a single ESP-designed LH-301B passive humbucker in the bridge position. Finally, a Floyd Rose Special bridge invites all the dive-bombing tremolo and soaring sustain you want to conjure!
The bolt-on maple neck on the Alexi-200 electric guitar is truly built for snappy, snarly tone and response, and you will feel it instantly. Cut to a thin “U” profile, this neck sits comfortably in your hand and lets you fly up and down the neck effortlessly. To aid that comfort, 24 extra jumbo frets adorn the roasted jatoba fingerboard, making chording and lead playing easy on the fingers. The thin U-shaped neck is a favorite among the many metal and heavy rock players here at Sweetwater.

The single ESP-designed LH-301B passive humbucker in the Alexi-200 has been wired to handle all the volume and effects you want to throw at it. This no-nonsense humbucker soars with thick, gritty tone that stays articulate with a defined midrange — even when driven at high volume.
