    Mediocre reverb
A promising design that turns out to be underwhelming.Good:- Solid build- Nice attractive layout (…but)- Variable predelay- Small rooms with long predealy gives an ok-ish slapback delay impersonation (should anyone need one).- The hall reverb is habile at certain settings- For those who still use batteries I guess the the magnetic battery hatch comes in handy. The again why bother…Bad:- The looks are only skin deep.- It has a battery option which means the form factor is about twice the size it needs to be.- A shimmer reverb (No sane person should need one and if they did it should be controllable and nice sounding which this one is definitely NOT)- The modulated “special” reverb is a hit or miss. Modulations not controllable.- Metallic artefacts on certain settings throughout the three base sounds- In general artificial sounding on all settings- As a guitar manufacturer living on the fame of designs made by the company founder in the 1950ies (and which has not evolved since) should maybe not be trying to designs pedals. Conclusion: One or two usable settings does not compensate for the missed opportunities and included crap. The promising looks does not deliver.

    Excellent Reverb! Go Fender!
Fender’s new line of pedals are sleek and sound great! But, from me, they only get 4 1/2 stars, not 5! The problem is that they should be just a tad smaller in width. They tend to take up a bit too much space on my pedalboard. For that reason and that reason only, I have used other pedals instead, so as not to take up so much room and leaving the board a bit more open for two pedals in their places instead of one.Sound quality is exceptional for most of the pedals, except The Pugilist Distortion, which is great if you want to sound “old school.” In regards to playing classic rock like “Rocky Mountain Way” or “All Right Now,” it’s great, but more up-to-date music requires much more than the 70s/80s-type distortion of The Pugilist. This review is for the Marine Reverb pedal, though, and I can tell you with confidence that it is one of the best new reverb pedals out there! It does SO much! You can’t go wrong if you’ve got enough room on your board!

a pedal that made me play more guitar
I’ve really enjoyed this pedal. It has reverb sounds from modest to electronic. I’ve been enjoying using the second room setting with full reverb time pre delay and level and playing along to Until I found you. This pedal has made me play more. And the prie is a lot less than market leading pedals that do it all. This doesn’t do it all as there is no spring reverb setting. But it’s a great little pedal for a good price and I’ve really enjoyed having it on my pedalboard.
