Classic single-cut tone and looks, set-neck build, great value. The LTD EC-256 takes ideas from the higher-end ESP EC (Eclipse) models into an affordable guitar: mahogany body, 3-piece mahogany neck, set-neck construction and ESP LH-150 humbuckers with coil-split.
Why customers choose it
- Easy to play: Thin U-profile 3-piece mahogany neck in set-neck construction, 24.75″ scale and 22 extra-jumbo frets on a 350mm-radius fingerboard.
- Tone woods: Mahogany body and 3-piece mahogany neck.
- Pickups: Passive ESP LH-150B (bridge) and ESP LH-150N (neck), with coil-splitting for single-coil sounds from a push-pull tone knob.
- Bridge: TOM-style bridge and tailpiece.
- High-end looks: Binding on the body and headstock and ESP flag inlays.
Who it is for
Intermediate players upgrading from a starter guitar, rock and metal players, students and gigging musicians who want set-up features of costlier ESP models at a fair level.
