I’m recording some vocal tracks as a hobby using Pro Tools and Fast Track Solo – which has only one headphone output (and a speaker output but I cannot use that during recording). I needed a way to give headphone signal to my vocalists (aka my kids) at the same time as having a signal for myself.Headphone Amplifier: This works extremely well. It takes the existing headphone signal as input and splits it four ways, each with independent volume control. I have noticed no loss in quality at all, and no interference or drain on one output when adjusting the volume of another. The unit is very small and light, so I used cable-ties to fasten it to my “studio” rack (a chrome-wire push-cart).Headphones: I liked these because they’re fully over-the-ear, so I don’t get much bleed into the recording. Quality-wise though, they really are a cheap set, no high-frequencies (compared to my Sony MDR-V6). But for what you pay, I am not complaining at all.Overall: great purchase, delivers as advertises.

I was looking at some headphone amps since I was in my country and this ones were expensive on the streets coz we don’t have access to some needs like audio and studio equipment… I try it at friends recording studio and were perfect, they did the job everyday in his studio and is like 5 years since he had this so as soon as I need it for some on the road recordings coz have only one headphone out on my Apollo I bought it and that’s the end of the story. Looks big on the add but they are small and fits perfect everywhere, strong, and the audio quality through them are good…
