Worth the wait and the price. The Lo & Mid knobs impart the heaviness & the grunge respectively to the sound output. Easy to use; the power adapter sadly does not come along with this and it had to be imported from USA.

Ahhh Behringer, the affordable Chinese pedal clone maker that’s bringing classic pedal sounds to everybody’s home for an affordable price; and as far as that goes, this pedal does the job. This is a clone of the legendary Boss HM2 distortion pedal, the original bringer of death and destruction known as the Swedish death metal sound. This HM300 is a very faithful clone and will help you recreate that gnarly, balls-to-the-wall, chainsaw wall of distorted goodness that is ever so loved by death metal fanatics across the world. Pro-tip: the only real way to use this pedal is to crank the knobs all the way up. Yes, all the knobs. Crank em and leave em alone and be ready to have your face melted and your ears obliterated. The bane of every bedroom player’s parents is sold at a very reasonable price and delivered right to your doorstep by Amazon. Bonus points if your parents are the ones that accept the delivery at the doorstep.But, if you are looking for a versatile, full bodied distortion for varying applications, this pedal is not for you. You’re not gonna be able to get the Jimi Hendrix fuzz out of this, nor the AC/DC crunch. You’re not gonna be able to get that scooped thrash metal tone or the doomy Black Sabbath sound. I guess you can use it for black metal since the quality of the sound (apart from when blasting it with all the knobs cranked) is just terrible and if black metallers love anything more than being edgy, it’s terrible sounding equipment (just kidding, I like black metal just as much as the next guy).As far as the build quality goes…well, it’s cheap plastic, what else did you expect at this price point? It doesn’t even ship with a 9V battery. The bright pink color is really something, as in something that will hurt your eyes after a while. But hey, this is to be expected.So, get this pedal if you know what you’re getting it for. Don’t have any wild expectations. It does what it’s meant to and it doesn’t really do much else. Get a DS1 if you’re looking for a cheap, well rounded distortion. Get this to summon the four horsemen of apocalypse.

Excellent product. And it will be helpful to those who are buying their first guitar pedal. Unless both input and output are inserted with 1/4 cable. The led indicator won’t glow and seem like it is not working even when you have installed a 9V battery or powered up with 9V power adapter. Working well with battery but haven’t bought the behringer 9vV adapter so can’t say much about working with adaptor.

倅が私のギターを弾くようになったので、それに併せてセッティングに苦労しないエフェクターをと考えてコレを選びました。我が家にはZOOMのマルチしかないので、流石に中学生にソレ使わせるのはちょっと、ねぇ。で、この商品。値段が値段なので、ノイズが酷いのではないか、逆にハイ落ちするのではないか、歪みは強いがチープな音になりはしないか、と心配はありました。その全て、とは云い切れませんが、良い意味で裏切られました。コレとデジタルディレイがあればそれだけで私の好みのメタルメタルした音がします。小規模なライブならコレ一台で十分な音作りが出来てしまいます。必要十分。コストパフォーマンスは非常に高い商品です。
